Metallurgical Engineering Open House
Engineering Open House 2012 aimed
to open our wide range of engineering
laboratories to students and the general
public in order to promote their
potential/competency in each area of
engineering as well as their up-to-date
curriculums.

For the School of Metallurgical Engineering,
our laboratory was open to public,
especially in aluminium casting technology
which has gained a lot of interest from the
audience. Laser welding has been
demonstrated and microscopy was on
displayed. Knowledge and useful
information on our studying in the School of
Metallurgical Engineering was given.

Engineering Camp 2012
SUT Engineering Camp 2012 for
the first time was open to high
school students applied for the
camp during 11-13 October 2012.
This was to provide detailed
information on study plan in
particular engineering programs.
Especially students have their
great opportunities to enjoy a
range of laboratory tours and
activities.
The camp was divided into four
categories: Materials Eng. Camp,Mechanical and Production Eng.
Camp, Chemical and Industrial
Eng. Camp, and Electrical and
Electronics Eng. Camp.
