We spent last month focusing on being thankful, and now we turn to celebrang the birth of our Savior, and spending me with family and friends. We are looking forward to sharing this season with our community and are filling this month with wonderful acvies and me together, that I person- ally, am looking forward to. Despite the cooler weather, the season always fills me with warmth. Though the leaves have (mostly) fallen from the trees and the temperatures are dropping, the holiday season in December is one of my favorites. There is so much to celebrate! We think of our community like family and are so grateful for all the people who make it feel like home – it has definitely been a year we will never forget. I can’t wait to spend the holidays with you and share in the joy of the season. “But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Although it has been a very challenging year for all of us, I still believe it’s the most wonderful time of the year! We spent last month focusing on being thankful, and now we turn to celebrating the
birth of our Savior, and spending time with family and friends. We are looking forward to sharing this season with our community and are filling this month with wonderful activities and time together, that I person-ally, am looking forward to.

It has been such a pleasure to have Mr. Joseph May here with us. He is originally from Miami, Florida. Mr. May grad-uated from Thomasville High School and Georgia Tech. He was married to the late
Mrs. Martha May for 63 years. Together they had two daughters and one son. He has five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. May worked for W.J. Powell Wholesale Food Company for 30 years. He also served in the United States Army. Mr. Joseph enjoys golfing and drinking Coca-Cola!
Welcome New Resident Mitzi Moore
We would like to welcome Ms. Mitzi Moore into our Legacy Village family. Ms. Moore is original-ly from Moultrie, Georgia where she worked for Smith Lumber Company for more than 30 years. She moved to Thomasville about 10 years ago and began to be a substitute teacherat many different schools. She enjoys cooking and
has actually won several chili cook offs and bak-ing contests.
She would bake treats for her son and his co-workers every Friday afternoon. We are so hap-py to have you here with us, Ms. Moore!

Welcome New Resident Dorothy “Dottie” Cole
Let’s give a warm welcome to our new-est resident, Ms. Dorothy “Dottie” Cole. Ms. Dottie was born in Vermont and has one sister, Roberta. She attended college at Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. She later married Malcolm Cole. Mr. and Mrs. Cole were married for over 50 years and had
four children – three sons and one daugh-ter. They attended church at Seventh Day Adventist. She enjoys cooking/baking, needlework, arts and crafts, singing and collecting dolls. Her favorite food is straw-berry ice cream! We are so pleased to have Ms. Cole here with us at Legacy Village.
