Message from our School Director, Mr Troy Mott. Dear Parents and Carers, As you may be aware, I recently convened a merit selection panel for the permanent position of principal at Narrandera East Infants School. This panel included an elected staff representative, a P&C nominated parent representative, an AECG representative, a principal from another area of NSW and myself as convenor. It is my pleasure to be able to now announce that Ms Elissa Routley, former Principal at Boree Creek Public School, has been successful through merit in being appointed as the new principal of Narrandera East Infants School. I know you will join me in congratulating Ms Routley on this fantastic achievement. Ms Routley, commences permanently as principal at Narrandera East Infants School on Tuesday 28 January 2020. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Nathaniel Sundstrom for his efforts and commitment as the relieving principal at Narrandera East Infants School over the past two terms. I wish Nathaniel well as he moves to his new position as assistant principal at Deniliquin South Public School. My thanks are also extended to our outstanding school staff and community panel representatives for their insight and considered analysis in this merit selection process. I again welcome Ms Routley on your behalf, with great anticipation for an exciting future that builds on the existing and enduring strength of Narrandera East Infants School. Regards, Troy Mott Director Educational Leadership, Narrandera Network

The end of year Griffith excursion for all students will be Monday 16th December. The bus will be leaving at 8.45am so students need to at school by 8.30am. Carols by Candlelight We will once again be performing at the Carols by Candlelight on Sunday 15th at Marie Bashir Park, we are usually one of the first items so please be at the park by 6.50pm in Christmas clothes. Drink bottles and hats The cooler weather has moved on and it is very important that every child has a water bottle and a hat for school each day. Our young students feel the heat easily and we are seeing more headaches and upset stomachs as summer heats up. Gymnastics Our gymnastics instructors were unavailable this week so our final session has been pushed to next Tuesday before class parties begin. Have a great week Nathaniel Sundstrom Principal (Relieving)
