MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT…. Our club has enjoyed a good year of competition and growth. The number of players wishing to compete for our club continues to increase with our summer season number far exceeding our winter registrations again. The upcoming summer season will see Hope Valley Netball field a new record number of 35 teams at SADNA. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported our club and assisted us in being a community based sporting group that encourages participation in a competitive, friendly and sportsman-like manner. The club is a volunteer based group of parents and players, and without everyone’s support, enthusiasm and efforts we would not continue to exist, let alone grow. Your committee has worked well together throughout the year to organise, equip and support everyone on a weekly basis. We welcome all members to approach the club and its committee with questions, suggestions and offers of support at any time. It may not be common knowledge that the club, through generous support of its Sponsors, Sporting Grants, Club Fundraising and the support of all families, allows us as a club to subsidise each player, every season, to the value of approximately $50 per player, to take the court. Our fees are very competitive and amongst the lowest in the metro area. I believe our club has not only grown in numbers — we have grown in reputation as a friendly, supportive group that welcomes families to try netball as a chosen sport. To encourage everyone to learn new skills, work together in a team and club environment and make new friends. Our umpires are also well regarded and considered fair, well-trained and well -supported. Our coaches, players and parents are amongst the best behaved every week. This only helps to improve how other clubs, players, families and officials perceive the Hope Valley Netball Club. Thank you all. I wish everyone the best as we commence the Summer 2019/20 Season. I have enjoyed being part of the Hope Valley Netball Club this year, working with a dynamic and devoted group of individuals that have worked together for the best outcomes for everyone associated with our club. Also huge congratulations to Jodie Love who successfully received her National C Badge in umpiring at the Mellor Olsson Academy Games held at Priceline Stadium. Jodie has worked hard over the past few seasons to receive this accreditation
