Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, we split the traditional Christmas wafer. After that, we eat Polish traditional meals for

example Borscht with Uszka or Pierogies.

Christmas Tree and Father Christmas When everybody sleep,

the Father Christmas arrives to houses

throught the chimney and gives presents for

polite childrens .

In Christmas Eve, we adorn Christmas Tree. We also sing a carols for example

„Silent Night”

We get presents on 24th December after supper.

Polish Christmas table

On our christmas table there are beetroot soup, different types of fish, cakes, different salads, dumplings, croquettes.

EVERY HAUSE IS SMELLS WITH CINNAMON AND ORANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is Christmas Eve in Poland ??? This is Christmas dinner on 24th December.

At the beginning we have the wafer (given by the prist before Christmas), then we eat our dinner. After dinner we unpack gifts and singing carols.

At 12.00 p.m we go to church. For the mass.

25th, 26th December We don’t go to school. We spend time with

our family. We eat, talk and watch films. Especially one film
