Joseph Nathan & Company is established in 1873.( In Newzealand)     Burroughs Wellcome & Company is established in 1880. In UK

     Nathan was starting manufacturing dried milk powder in 1904.

      Joseph Nathan & Company was registered as Glaxo trademark in

1906.

Glaxo laboratories was formed in 1935.     Joseph Nathan & Company was taken over by Glaxo in 1947.

Glaxo and Wellcome merged in 1995 as a

fully pharmaceutical company.

to Philadelphia.` Smith Kline & French Laboratories merged with Beecham in

1988 and became SmithKline Beecham Plc.` They were producing Vaccine.
