DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE
Your Mercer County Civic Foundation supported a multi-tude of heart-warming, purposeful initiatives this past year, touching lives in untold ways. Our donors and fund holders choose to see beauty in the world, even when confronted with difficult situations. Is there anything better than filling others’ lives with joy? We are so blessed to build more than bridges. Together we connect people and resources in untold ways, creating better places to live, work and experience life. I’m reminded daily that kind people are everywhere. Look around. You’ll be inspired by the dedication of others, just as you inspire others with your own charitable spirit.
It is truly a privilege to work with and for all of you through this Foundation. I cherish our connections and our ability to transform common, ordinary days into joyous opportunities and blessings.

Ft. Recovery’s guidance counse-lor, Amy Kaiser, presents the 2018 Operation Freedom Support Scholarship to Sophie Timmerman. This scholarship is awarded at each county school to a graduate whose family mem-ber has ties to the Armed Forces. We thank ALL of our military families for their service.
“I appreciate all the time and
hard work the Civic Foundation
takes into choosing and
distributing scholarships each
year. All of the work that
everyone at the Foundation
does greatly helps out many
students like me who have high
aspirations for themselves but
just need a little help achieving
these goals financially.”

“I will use this to further
my education and become the
adult and young man that
Andrew and I would want
me to be. Andrew will
always be there to support
and cheer me on through a
difficult quiz or lengthy
presentation. I plan to keep
in touch. Thanks again!
