3    Improve engagement with our Third Sector partners

Did you know - that in 2009/2010

• 1,500 + residents in Warrington with a diagnosis of a severe and enduring mental illness

• Increased risk of coronary heart disease, diabetes, infections and respiratory disease

• Approximately 26,100 adults will be experiencing a common mental disorder

• Individuals with depressive disorders are about twice as likely to develop coronary artery disease, twice as likely to have a stroke and four times as likely to have a myocardial infarction (heart attack) as people who are not depressed.

• WCCG spent £25m on mental health in 2013/14
