MILWAUKEE - St. Nor- bert College rolled to the team championship of the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warrior Invitational at Raabe Stadium. The team title was the seventh consecutive team championship at the meet for the Green Knights. St. Norbert totaled a whop- ping 279.5 points to easily outdistance runner-up Car- roll University’s 199.5 points. Wisconsin Lutheran was third with 94 points. The Green Knights won 11 of the 22 events held. Lisa Baeten also picked up two event champi- onships, winning the 800-meter run with a time of 2:22.84 and the 1-mile run in 5:14.05. Taylor Wen- zel won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.93 seconds, while Brittany Kozlowski was first in the 400-meter dash in 58.77 seconds. Liz LeCaptain earned a pair of event titles, claiming the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.70 seconds and the long jump at 17 feet 3/4 inches. In field events, Nicole Vanderlin won the high jump with a height of 5-1. Erin Lang took first place in the javelin throw with a distance of 89-5. The 4x100-meter relay of Mara Aparnieks, LeCap- tain, Lang and Angel Hon was first with a time of 49.59 seconds. The same quartet won the 800-meter sprint medley with a time of 1:57.01. Jamie Karrels, Deanna Knetzger, Paulina Puskala and Malgorzata Waz won the distance medley with a time of 13:49.02. Erin Artz was second in the 1-mile run with a time of 5:16.36, while Taylor Miller was third at 5:25.16. Miller added a third-place showing in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:28.58. Mallory Nickerson was second in the discus throw with a heave of 115-8 and finished in third place in the javelin throw at 76-4. Katelyn Turner was second in the shot put with a distance of 37-7 1/4. Brianna Bittner was second in the long jump at 16-1/2, while Samantha Morateck was second in the high jump at 4-11. Hon was third in the 100-meter dash at 12.90 seconds, while Brianna Alexander was third in the 400-meter dash at 1:04.88. Grace Mickelson was third in the pole vault at 9-5 3/4. Men’s Track & Field Women’s Track & Field Colin O’Brien Men’s Track & Field Sophomore Racine, WI. The Prairie School MILWAUKEE - St. Norbert College won the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warrior Invita- tional for the third consecutive year! The Green Knights piled up 243 points, easily besting runner-up Carroll University’s 155 points for the team title. St. Norbert won nine of the 22 events contested. Brad Boockmeier won a pair of field events - claim- ing the shot put with a distance of 47 feet 9 inches and the javelin throw with a distance of 169-7. Boockmeier was second in the pole vault at 11-6 1/4 and was also runner-up in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.08 seconds. Randy Hill captured the long jump title with a dis- tance of 21-7 1/4. Hill placed third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.75. Ryan Grandlic won the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.46 seconds, while Austin Livingston won the 800-meter dash in 1:56.61. Hayden Hoffmann claimed the top honors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:58.14. The 4x400-meter relay of Tyler Lewis, Livings- ton, Taylor Pasterski and Grandlic won with a time of 3:22.09. The 800-meter sprint medley of Brennan Beachler, Taylor Daul, Riley Scanlan and Pasterski won with a time of 1:39.02. The distance medley of Sam Holt, Alexander Clemetson, Tommy Zakowski and Jacob Wittmershaus won with a time of 11:06.43. Evan Broyles finished in second place in three field events. Broyles was runner-up in the shot put (44-2), the discus throw (132-8) and the hammer throw (143- 11). Broyles took second to unattached competitors in both the discus and hammer. The 4x100-meter relay of Kevin Schlichter, Paster- ski, Colin O’Brien and Tyler Lewis was second with a time of 43.62 seconds. Schlichter was second in the long jump at 21-2. Akeem Edmonds was third in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:59.91.
