Melanson Heath & Co. Finds No Weaknesses in Hubbardston

Since 2004 the NH-based accounting firm Melanson Heath & Co. had been performing the Town of Hubbardston's annual independent audits.

In its LAST one for FY '11, which it submitted in June '12, the firm detected no MATERIAL WEAKNESSES.

Several "issues", however, were cited concerning:
1. ambulance receipts receivables;
2. record keeping in the Assessor's Office;
3. trust funds;
4. timeliness of cash transfers;
