an advisor for candidate enrolled in the Qualifying Program of MEK (Please mark as many as

Interview Panel Member, which entails participating in the selection of candidates (Starting July –

June 2013)

Advisory Member, which entails:

Guiding students through the application process to international universities,

Giving them tips on how to write a personal statement and who to ask for recommendation

letters

Helping them search for scholarship opportunities in the universities where they are applying.

There are two batches of the Qualifying Program, please choose the group you would like to work

with as an advisor based on your availability:

1st iteration, (starting April 2013)

2nd

iteration, (starting October 2013)

Focal Point, which entails promoting and recruiting for the qualifying program through announcing at

your place of work or circulating the announcement to your mailing list (April 2013 – June 2013)

تأهيل طالب الدراسات العليامنحة مصر الخير ل

Introduction: This program offers the opportunity to enroll 25 postgraduate students from national

universities in 2014, in the fields of Engineering, Agriculture, Sciences, and Social Studies in

a qualifying program in order to enhance the students’ competitive capabilities and well

prepare them so that they can apply for international scholarships in outstanding universities.

Moreover, the students will be provided by advisory services and application assistance in

how to search and apply for international scholarship programs suitable for them.

The program has four phases:

International accredited training program provided by Faculty and Leadership Phase one:

Development Center in Cairo University. The training program covers 7 essential courses;

communication skills, effective presentation skills, university code of ethics, international

publishing of scientific research, managing research teams, competing for research teams,

and research ethics.

Eligibility Requirements:

Egyptian Citizen

Graduated from national universities with a minimum average grade of “very

good” in the fields of engineering, agriculture, sciences, and social sciences.

Received either;

a. their Bachelor degree and looking to be enrolled in a Master program

scholarship

b. their Master degree and looking to be enrolled in a Ph.D. program

scholarship

Obtained a minimum institutional TOEFL (Local) Score of 500 from

AMIDEAST.
