Criminal Failures and Cover-ups or Attempted Genocide and Eth-nocide using MenAfriVac® ?
Who is crazy? - Dozens of physi-cally sick young people (most of them female children) or a Chad-ian minister, who has sworn to protect his people, while he seems to be protected by his foreign co-horts - among them the World Health Organization (WHO)?
The A-Z of a vaccination disaster in remote Africa
A) All the children, who became sick after the anti-meningitis vaccination in Gouro (North-ern Chad), are in terms of their ethnicity from the Tibu people - black Africans and known as the people of the Tibesti Mountains, living dispersed and intercepted by colonial boundaries in areas ranging from Niger, Northern Chad and Libya to Sudan (Darfur) and all the way to Egypt, includ-ing the Kufra and Bezzima oases. In Chad they are recognized as a threatened minority by indige-nous peoples’ rights organizations like ECOTERRA International. Still the Tibu as a people have survived since thousands of years without and later despite former colonial and modern western and global interferences.
B) All these Tibu children, who became sick, had received the MenAfriVac® vaccine against meningitis in a campaign during the time of December 11 to 15, 2012 in Gauro, Northern Chad.
C) The vaccination was carried out by a medical team from the Borkou Ennedi Tibesti (BET) District with a governmental nurse under WHO staff supervi-sion and the vaccines were pro-vided by the Government, who had received them with the help of WHO and partners. Targeting all Tibu people of the age be-tween one and 29 years the vac-cination was carried out, but - as the minister in charge later admit-ted - with serious flaws.
Besides the Ministry of Health of Chad the following organizations are involved with the MenAfriVac vaccination project in Chad.• CDC – US American Centre for Disease Control• FDA – US American Food and Drug Administration• BMGF – US American Bill and Melinda Gates Founda-tion• GAVI - Global Vaccina-tion Alliance, which finances the meningitis vaccination project with USD 571 million.• PATH – Anglo-Amer-ican Program for Appropriate
WHO IS CRAZY ?Technology in Health• MVP – Intl. Meningitis Vaccine Project• WHO – The United Na-tions World Health Organization• UNICEF – The UN’s United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund• MSF (France/CDN) - Médecin Sans FrontierD) The vaccination in Gauro was implemented in the following way (witness statement):“Firstly, the Government and WHO staff collaborated with the school’s headmaster, who locked the school’s main door before vaccinating all the children. The school headmaster told the chil-dren that anyone who refused the vaccine would be banned from school and be arrested.”“Secondly, they went door to door and injected all the babies over one year.”E) Already on day one of the vaccination program, three of the children had become ill, suf-fering from convulsions, vomit-ing, headaches, and diarrhoea. Their conditions were described as critical. Worried by what had happened to their children, par-ents reported that they had tried to alert the vaccinators, but the team continued with the vaccina-tion program unabated. In total a number of 106 of around 500 vaccinated children fell ill after they were vaccinated. Panicked by the turn of events, the vaccination team took to their heels, leaving the sick children behind.
F) Alerted, the governor of Ennedi West Region - one M. Mornadji - dispatched an investigation team to Gauro to establish facts and to keep the local population quiet.
G) On December 20, 2013, al-ready three children had to be taken in an emergency evacua-tion from Gauro to the regional hospital in Faya. Youth leader Ousmane Kaliwéi accused the government and decried that no-one wanted to even talk about this catastrophe yet.
H) Only after that first public out-cry, a governmental delegation from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Social Security visit-ed Gauro together with members of parliament during Christmas 2012 in a kind of political pub-lic relations stunt. But what they found shocked them. According to the director of the International Centre for Health Support (CSSI), Dr. Douglas Doumagoum Moto, the symptoms of the affected chil-dren were not those commonly observed as side effects of “nor-mal” anti-meningitis vaccination cases. In their meeting the Min-
ister of Health apologised to the parents and said he had not been aware about the seriousness of the situation. Cash in form of one mil-lion FCFA (approx. 2,050.- USD) for each affected child was paid the same day to the families. This was apparently enough to keep them quiet at first but too little to really help.
J) Based on their findings on these 106 cases, then 50 children aged between 7 and 28 years and their parents were evacuated by two governmental flights on 25th and 26th December 2012 from Gauro to N’Djamena – 1000 km to the South - and admitted at two hospitals, the Mother and Child Hospital and the General Hos-pital, which is also the national reference hospital. 40 of those 50 evacuated out of the 106 sick chil-dren were paralysed. 38 children stayed admitted, while nobody reported until today about the fate of the other 68 cases.Clinical dossiers from the Moth-er and Child hospital confirmed that the medical observations pointed into the direction of an intoxication and the vaccination against Meningitis A. But on all the sheets is written in the field for the admission diagnosis only with big letters “MAPI” and no other single word of any diagnsis. MAPI is - like Dr. Buriot’s WHO Department - also based in Lyon, France. It stands for the MAPI Research Trust (MRT), a private-public sponsored entity engaged in pharma-epidemiological re-search. Not getting answers from their local doctors, parents began to ask if all medical findings are left by the well-educated and for-eign trained Chadian doctors or by those independent local ex-perts in tropical diseases to only “experts” from their former colo-nial overlord France.
K) The weekly newspaper La Voix in Chad then broke the story on December 27, 2012 (parution n°186 du 25 au 31 Decembre), re-porting that many children fell ill and a growing number were even paralysed after the vaccination had taken place. It also revealed that angry people had burned the vehicle of a health official after their vaccinated children became paralysed.
L) When it turned out that some hush-money was paid to the fami-lies, the government of Chad was fast to state that they had given that money to the affected fami-lies not to coerce them to not talk to journalists or to bribe and muz-zle them but for their upkeep. A payment of over 2,000 US$ to a poor rural family of a sick child in
Chad merely for “upkeep” is un-precedented and unheard of in all the medical history of Chad.
Journalists were banned to access the patients, families and witness-es and State Police was deployed at all the entry doors to enforce this.
M) On January 06, 2013, the first international article appeared, written by journalist Christina England and published by the website vactruth.com. Until then not a single other journalist of the international media, though they have correspondents in Chad, did report anything for almost three weeks since the incident.
N) Already the next day televi-sion footage from the local televi-sion station TeleTchad of January 7, 2013, showed the Prime Minis-ter of Chad, Emmanuel Nadingar, making an impromptu visit to one of two hospitals accommodat-ing the sick children in hopes of reassuring parents and children. Family members and witnesses stated in front of the camera not only that the children became ill directly after the vaccination, but reported that due to the occurring convulsions “It takes three to four people just to hold the children tied.” Two weeks later Prime Minister Nadingar will see himself relieved from his duties and replaced by the former chief of cabinet Djim-rangar Dadnadji - following an order by the patron of the anti-meningitis vaccination campaign, Chad’s president Idris Déby.
O) On January 9, 2013, another full-page article was published by the newspaper La Voix on these cases, pointing fingers in the di-rection of those responsible for the vaccination campaign, incl. the World Health Organization (WHO).
P) On January 10, 2013, another article was published also by the Journal Du Chad titled Chad: A Vaccine Against Meningitis Caused Casualties, reporting likewise that fifty children had been admitted in two hospitals in N’Djamena, the capital of Chad, with serious conditions.
Q) A second article published on VacTruth by Christina England on January 13, 2013, outlined who is involved in the botched vaccination campaign in Chad, which caused the Tibu children to be paralysed.
R) On January 15, 2013, final-ly the head of the Ministry for Public Health in Chad, Minister Mamouth Nahor N’Gawara, felt for the first time urged to make a
public statement, confirming the reports and revealing that since 9th January an independent team of “experts” had been assigned to study the cases but that they had not yet concluded their findings. Interestingly the minister also promised that those vaccinated will be protected against the men-ingitis bacteria for six years, while MSF speaks of a lasting effect of only three years. Otherwise the minister only confirmed that the campaign using the MenAfric-Vac® vaccine had been launched on December 11, 2012, in Chad under the patronage of the presi-dent of the republic, Idriss Déby, himself.
S) One of the “experts”, a per-son from the WHO (later it was revealed and confirmed to have been this Dr. Buriot), visited the physically sick children - aged between 8 and 25 years, with 77% girls: 27 out of 35 - in their hospital on January 15, 2013 - the very same day the minister made his first statement. An evacuation out of Chad was initiated for the most critical cases of seven chil-dren .
T) These seven children (six girls, one boy) out of the 38 most severe cases were then flown late on 15th January from Chad to Tunisia in a special flight and still are station-ary there in the private, secluded Clinic Shoukouran in Tunis. The parents at first were not informed at all to where their children were taken and only two parents were allowed as guardian on the clan-destine flight to accompany the girls. The international airport of N’Djamena that day was sealed off by state security for any visi-tor until that flight had left. Only after massive protests, some par-ents were several days later also flown to Tunis to attend to their children.
It is assumed that big money be-hind the scenes paid for this spe-cial flight, which was mastered by the WHO under diplomatic immunity since the children and their ushers, including a male nurse from the Chadian health services, even didn’t have visa for Tunisia. The WHO Department of Com-municable Diseases, Surveillance and Response (CSR) at the WHO in Geneva.runs with the support of the French Government and the pharma-money of the Marcel Mérieux Foundation an Office in Lyon, France, whose director is one Dr Diego Buriot, a WHO physician, who also runs on the side a private practice as paedia-trician in Lyon. He is said to have experience in “developing coun-

tries”.U) This Dr. Buriot, obviously in his capacity as trouble-shooter for the WHO, then made on Jan-uary 19. 2013 and on national TV in Chad a statement to cover up for those responsible, saying: “We have done all analyses, we believe that the vaccine is not the cause of the paralysed chil-dren and the children are not in danger. How can he make such a state-ment when during the same broadcast he has to say: “The analysis is still in progress with the results to come out in a few weeks, but currently we are sure that the vaccine is not an issue.” Finally and in the same TV seg-ment this Dr. Buriot introduces a new twist: “The cases are caused by the anxiety of the children.”
V) Members of Human Rights organisations wrote to the WHO on January 19, 2012. But Dr. Saïdou Pathé Barry, the resident representative of the WHO in Chad remains mum until today, thereby violating the duties of his international mandate, and likewise the WHO itself has also not answered any of these questions, neither directly nor publicly, through the media, or on their outdated website.
W) The horrible events were only thereafter and for the first time picked up by international mainstream media on January 20, 2012, but Agence France Press (AFP), who has a cor-respondent in Chad, only felt compelled to more or actually less only copy parts of the blunt and contradicting ministerial statement of January 15, 2012. Surely, during that week France with their air-force launching
a major military offensive in Mali to protect French Oil- and Gas-interests, which made the headlines, but almost one week delay in reporting a ministerial statement is rare for this largest francophone newswire-service of the world. Observers asked, if AFP has been cautioned, because the only two pieces AFP had published about Bill Gates in the months before sounded like pure and paid for public relations stunts.
X) Then, facing slightly more international attention, Minister N’Gawara made a second public statement on January 21, 2013, and even put one on top, where-by - referring to the physically sick children - he basically de-clared: ‘It’s all in their head!’ He went even so far to state: The symptoms observed in the patients resemble those, which have been described in the liter-ature under several names:uman rights defenders in Chad de-manded.• collective hysteria• collective obsessive behaviour• mass psychogenic phenom-enonBut still he could not present any concluding findings of any independent expert on these documented cases in Chad nor concerning those children taken to Tunisia.Instead of proclaiming that it all would be only in the heads of the physically sick children, the minds of those responsible should be investigated and ex-amined why they try to cover up, human rights defenders in Chad demanded.
Y) Of course AFP this time picked up the ministerial blurb faster and on January 22, 2013, tried under the headline: “Chad says no link between sick kids and meningitis shot!” to back-track as well as to sink and bury the story. Questions, asking if AFP is on Bill Gates’ or the WHO’s payroll, were raised and too close connections between AFP, the French Government, the CSR, MAPI and the WHO as well as - of course and at the core - the pharmacy-industry it-self can so far not be ruled out.But this is only the tip of the iceberg of silence, which is still maintained by all the other mainstream media. This wall of colluding silence maintained by the international mainstream media was not even broken by the public ministerial statements nor the two AFP wire dispatches. In addition editors of otherwise rather investigative newspapers
told friends that “this story is untouchable”, but refuse to re-veal why or even to be quoted. All face apparently a heavy wall of silence and a news blackout, obviously imposed by powerful individuals, groups and govern-ments.
Z) Until today no real help for the sick and disabled children has come forward and the fami-lies have not been assisted but rather hindered to make a police report. No independent commis-sion has been appointed by the Government of Chad to bring light into the dark dealings of powerful groups and the min-istry. Therefore the families is-sued on January 27, 2013 - one full month after those faithful vaccination days in Gauro and while their children still suffer - a public statement, whereby the next of kin declare:We, the parents of the children from Gauro, which were paraly-sed as a result of the vaccine against meningitis A, welcome the statement of the Minister of Health, who acknowledged that the children are the victims of effects unusual and unwanted by the meningitis vaccination cam-paign of 11-15 December 2012. We, the parents have also appre-ciated the efforts of the Govern-ment by the evacuation of our children to N’Djamena. However, we as parents are deeply alarmed by the declara-tion of the WHO expert, Dr. Diego BURIOT. On Friday, January 18, 2013, at the day of the exit of the Prime Minister, Dr. BURIOT said to the press that the vaccine is not the cause of the illness of the children of Gouro. He also said that medi-cal examinations have not been completed and the final results will be received in the coming weeks. This contradiction in his statement proves his bad faith. We believe that Dr. BURIOT’s declaration is unacceptable. We also believe that the vaccine is the direct cause of the disease that has paralysed our children. We, the parents, are very dis-appointed by the statement of the Minister of Public Health, who said that the tests could not establish a link between the hundred and six (106) sick chil-dren and the recent vaccination against meningitis. Despite our collaboration and our patience, the Ministry of Health does not respond to the real needs and is not looking for a solution to this tragedy. We believe that the vaccinators and supervisors did not respect the required storage and trans-

“ Be warned that the bank-ruptcy trustee is the prosecu-tor, the judge and the jury all rolled into one.”Let me ask you this ques-tion; if you were faced with a criminal offence, would you face the prosecutor, the judge and the jury alone? Probably, not! You would go to court in the company of a good lawyer. Similarly, if you are faced with debt problems and you are considering declaring bankruptcy, or a proposal to your creditors, it is not a good idea to face the trustee alone. Be warned that the bank-ruptcy trustee is the prosecu-tor, the judge and the jury all rolled into one. He works for the Bank and not for you.A bankruptcy trustee is ap-pointed by the bankruptcy court to oversee the bank-ruptcy of an individual or a business. The duties of the bankruptcy trustee include:• Collecting and sell-ing assets• Paying off creditors with the assets in order of priority class.• In a Chapter 11 Re-organization, to operate the business so as to preserve the value of business assets • To make periodic re-ports to the court on the prog-ress of the bankruptcy.A bankruptcy trustee, like other trustees, has a fiduciary duty to be responsible for the
funds under his/her care.A friend of mine from the Ba-hamas went to a bankruptcy trustee to declare bankruptcy. The Trustee was very nice to him in the information gath-ering stage to such an extent that he felt he and the trustee were friends. “What’s your name, job, income, RRSPs, homeowner and so on? In the process the trustee found out that my friend was from the Bahamas. “Oh, you are from the Bahamas? The trustee queried. I hear it is a beauti-ful place. I would like to visit there someday” “Oh, Yes. I’m from the Bahamas and it is a beautiful place. I own a nice home on the beach. You may stay there for free if and when you visit.” My friend proudly answered. Before my friend realized, his beach-home in Bahamas was sold to pay off his debts in Canada. I’m passionate about advo-cating for mental health. One of the most powerful ways I can do this, I believe, is by sharing my experience with mental illness and the tools I’ve discovered to manage it.
So when one of my former professors from George Brown College, Keith Nick-son, asked if I would address his Mental Health Class Year 1 seized the opportunity.
I told the students a little about my background. I was born in Singapore and my family had arrived in Canada when I was 17. In that first year, mental illness struck me. I found it difficult to concentrate in class. I took a week off from school to re-lieve the pressure off myself and everything seemed okay afterward.
But in university, my lack of concentration became so bad that I dropped out of my second year. I worked at dif-ferent jobs in between peri-ods where I was admitted to various hospitals. It wasn’t until 12 years later that my condition was accurately di-agnosed as bipolar disorder. Simply put, this is a condi-tion marked by periods of el-evated mood or manic phases and lows or depression.
During periods of mania, I went on shopping binges I couldn’t afford. When I was depressed, I could barely get out of bed until 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon. And during these times, I often wished I were dead.
But over the course of many years, I researched the ill-
ness and learned a lot about myself. I also found ways to effectively manage my con-dition through medications, a regular routine, diet, exercise and forming a strong network of good friends.
One of the most effective ways I’ve found healing is by engaging in art. Today I muck around with clay to create beautiful ceramics. I paint and take photos.
I told the students that as professionals in the mental health field, they could help people like me who struggle with mental illness by:• Listening to us with empathy and without judg-ment. Try to get beneath the words to find out how we’re feeling.• Respecting our limi-tations. It’s not our fault that we struggle with mental ill-ness.• Touching or hugging us. That helps us feel we’re not alone.• Empowering us. Ask us what we want from them or other people in our lives.
The students asked me many excellent questions. One of them said, “Has the men-tal health system improved since the 70s when you first fell ill?”
“In many ways, no,” I said. “We can send people into space. But we still know very little today about the human brain. And that’s a sad real-ity.”
Standing Up For Mental
Illness
Canada’s Ivanie Blondin, Kali Christ and Cindy Klassen combined for the first time this season to capture a silver medal Sun-day in the team pursuit at a long-track speedskating World Cup in Erfurt, Ger-many.
Jamie Gregg of Edmonton was fourth in the men’s 500 metres, missing the podium by one one-hun-dredth of a second.
Blondin, from Ottawa, Christ, a Regina native, and Winnipeg’s Klassen skated in the final pair of the team pursuit with the Netherlands, finishing in three minutes 4.33 sec-onds, just 1.51 seconds behind the gold medallist Dutch squad. Poland cap-tured the bronze.
“It was a new combo, but we went out there with confidence and we skated a really good consistent race,” Blondin said. “We all helped each other real-ly well. It just worked out super great.” Canada and the Netherlands are tied for the overall team pursuit title with 250 points apiece with one race remaining.
The second-place finish was the first career World Cup podium finish for Christ.
“It was my second team pursuit race at a World Cup, but my first one where it’s been all out and felt really good,” she said. “The three of us worked really well.”Smeekens continues torrid pace
Gregg raced to a time of 35.29 in the 500. Dutch-man Jan Smeekens won the 500 for the second time in as many days to further ex-tend his lead in the World Cup standings.
Smeekens clocked 34.96 seconds to beat Japan’s Joji Kato by nine hundredths of a second. Another Dutch-man, Ronald Mulder, fin-ished 0.32 seconds back to complete identical podium placings from Saturday.
Smeekens is all but as-sured of the World Cup title ahead of the last meet in Heerenveen. The 26-year-old has 830 points, with Kato second on 686, and Mulder’s twin brother Michel third on 485.
Zbigniew Brodka of Po-land won the men’s 1,500 in 1:46.88 seconds, one tenth of a second ahead of Latvia’s Haralds Silovs.
American Brian Han-sen, who claimed his first World Cup win in Satur-day’s 1000, was third, 0.13 back.
Brodka leads the season standings with 340 points after five races, 56 ahead of Norway’s Havard Bokko, who finished fifth, and 85 ahead of Hansen in third.
American skater Brittany Bowe clocked 1:15.34 sec-onds to win the women’s 1,000 metre race, four tenths of a second ahead of Ireen Wust of the Nether-lands. Russia’s Olga Fatku-lina was third, 0.45 back.
Heather Richardson of the U.S. still leads on 501 points, despite finishing 12th, ahead of Czech skat-er Karolina Erbanova on 429 and Bowe on 390.

A notorious anti-Semitic speaker, Sophia Tesfamariam, is coming to Canada to de-liver her usual hate-mongering speech in Vancouver at a public seminar and fundraising event organized by the Eritrean Cultural Center of Greater Vancouver, a satellite group affiliated with the Eritrean consulate in Toronto and the Young People’s Front for Democ-racy and Justice.
Ms. Tesfamariam is an Eritrean American with a designated office at the Eritrean Em-bassy in Washington, D.C., which is affiliated with the Eritrean government.
Tesfamariam spoke at a public seminar and fundraising event sponsored by the Eritrean Community of Winnipeg on October 2, 2010. In her speech she referred to Israel as an example of a terrorist state, advising the audience not be evil like the Jews. “Don’t be evil like them. Don’t blow up people. Don’t do things that are evil… ” She portrayed the Jewish community as enemies of Eritrea who must be avoided.
“The October 2010 speech of Ms. Tesfamariam,” said David Matas, Senior Honorary Counsel for B’nai Brith Canada in their press release, “by referring to Jews as evil as well as its other components, fits within the prohibitions against incitement to hatred in the Canadian Criminal Code and incitement to terrorism in the United Nations Secu-rity Council resolution. Having once violated those standards, Ms. Tesfamariam should be barred entry to Canada to prevent further violations. Canada needs to protect itself against incitement to hatred and violence.”
The hate-mongering speech of Ms. Tesfamariam didn’t stop with Jews but also applied to Eritrean-Canadians who actively expose human rights violations in Eritrea. Tesfamari-am urged the audience to isolate activists and not attend their weddings or funerals. Ms. Tesfamariam is also in the business of character assassination of anyone who criticizes the Eritrean government. She has played a huge role in destroying the unity of the Eri-trean-Canadian community all over the country during her regular visits for fundraising events organized by the satellite organizations of the Eritrean Consulate in Toronto.
How can we possibly ignore the notorious activities of people like Sophia Tesfamariam? How long are we going to be patient while she repeatedly breaks our Canadian laws?
What’s funny about Tesfamariam’s March 2013 seminar is she will speak about Human Rights and Development. Indeed it’s a mockery of genuine fighters of human rights viola-tions. She has been defending the Eritrean regime that is well known for its gross human rights violations in the country, a regime that’s actively involved in human trafficking and one that’s been criticized by organizations such as Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and many well-respected human rights organizations for decades.
Now is the time for the Canadian government to take very serious action. We don’t really know what kind of hate she will plant in our community or against the Jewish community in her March 5, 2013 speech. We shouldn’t allow our laws to be abused.
I don’t see any point in spending time implementing laws to protect Canadian citi-zens if we don’t apply them to people like Tesfamariam. What’s the point of stating we have a zero-tolerance policy against anti-Semitism if we don’t apply it to the infamous Ms.Tesfamariam?
The Canadian government must bar Sophia Tesfamariam from ever entering Canada. Canada must protect itself against incitement to hatred and violence. We demand that the zero-tolerance policy for anti-Semitism be applied. We mustn’t allow the likes of Tesfamariam to make a mockery of our laws.
Canada, it’s time to get tough on Sophia Tesfamariam

Doctor: There’s a guy in the next ward who made a very good offer on your slippers.
******************A dentist, after completing work on a patient, came to him begging.
Dentist: Could you help me? Could you give out a few of your loudest, most painful screams?
Patient: Why? Docor, it wasn’t all that bad this time.
Dentist: There are so many people in the waiting room right now, and I don’t want to miss the four o’clock ball game.************
A mother and her daughter were at the gynecolo-gist’s office. The mother asked the doctor to examine her daughter. “She has been having some strange symptoms and I’m worried about her,” the mother said.
The doctor examined the daughter carefully and then announced, “Madam, I believe your daughter is pregnant.”
The mother gasped, “That’s nonsense! Why, my little girl has nothing whatsoever to do with men.” She turned to the girl. “You don’t, do you, dear?”“No, mumsy,” said the girl. “Why, you know that I have never so much as kissed a man!” The doctor looked from mother to daughter, and back again. Then, silently he stood up and walked to the window, staring out.He continued staring until the mother felt com-pelled to ask, “Doctor, is there something wrong out there?”“No, Madam,” said the doctor. “It’s just that the last time anything like this happened, a star appeared in the East and I was looking to see if another one was going to show up.”
Apple was dealt a major setback in its patent battle against Samsung today when a California judge ordered a new trial on 14 Samsung products and dropped more than $450 million in damages from the $1.05 billion the jury awarded to Apple last sum-mer.
California district court Judge Lucy Koh found that the jury awarded damages “based on a legally imper-missible theory,” so Sam-sung is entitled to a new trial on more than a dozen
of its gadgets.
That includes the Galaxy Prevail, Gem, Indulge, In-fuse 4G, AT&T Galaxy S II, Captivate, Continuum, Droid Charge, Epic 4G, Exhibit 4G, Galaxy Tab, Nexus S 4G, Replenish, and Transform.
“This amounts to $450,514,650 being struck from the jury’s award,” Judge Koh said.
However, Samsung is still
on the hook for almost $600 million in damages related to the Galaxy Ace, Galaxy S (i9000), Galaxy S II i9100, Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G LTE, Intercept, Fascinate, Galaxy S 4G, Galaxy S II Showcase, Mesmerize, Vibrant, Galaxy S II Sky-rocket, Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch, and the T-Mo-bile Galaxy S II.
“The total award for these 14 products is $598,908,892,” the judge said.
It appears that the jury re-lied too heavily on dam-ages suggested by one of Apple’s expert witnesses. “Accordingly, the Court will consider which of these awards entailed the use of an impermissible legal theory, and what the appropriate response is,” Judge Koh wrote.
“We are pleased that the court decided to strike $450,514,650 from the jury’s award,” Samsung said in a statement. “Sam-

sung intends to seek fur-ther review as to the re-maining award. We are also pleased that the court earlier found that Samsung had not acted willfully, de-nied Apple’s request for a permanent injunction, and denied Apple’s motion for increased damages.”
The judge also considered a request from Apple for even more damages on five products, but she shot down that request. “There is a longstanding rule that the Seventh Amendment
prohibits a judicial in-crease in a damages award made by a jury,” she conclud-ed. “It is not the proper role of the Court to sec-o n d - g u e s s the jury’s factual deter-mination as to the proper amount of compensa -tion.”
Meanwhile, S a m s u n g and Apple were at odds over damag-es for post-
trial sales. Apple wanted the clock to start on July 1, Samsung wanted it to start after the conclusion of the trial. Judge Koh sided with Samsung and set it at Aug. 25.
Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

VAUGHAN- Justin Trudeau hosted a pre-rally media reception in Vaughan yesterday. Me-dia outlets from all over the GTA, representing a diverse group of commu-nities came together for a chance to meet with Justin and hear first-hand why he would be the best choice to lead the Liberal Party of Canada.
“Multicultural media has an important role in strengthening Canada’s diversity and engaging communities,” said Mr. Trudeau. “By providing a unique lens on important issues and bringing atten-tion and insight to issues not being addressed by the mainstream media, mul-ticultural media enhances Canadian democracy and our society as a whole.”
While addressing the group of journalists Mr. Trudeau spoke of the importance new Canadians have al-ways played in develop-ing Canada. He high-lighted his concerns over the Harper Government’s many changes to Canada’s immigration policy as well as his strong belief in the need for a fairer refugee system.
“For me, the heart of what it means to be Canadian can be found in our mul-ticultural communities,” said Mr. Trudeau. “The struggles of new Canadi-ans are the struggles of all Canadians. If we are to build a truly just society we must address these is-sues and work together to build a better Canada.

Liberal leadership candi-date Marc Garneau target-ed Justin Trudeau during the second-to-last party leadership debate Sunday, accusing the perceived frontrunner of avoiding the big-ticket platform issues.
“I believe that Canadians want to see substance.
They don’t want empty words,” Garneau said to Trudeau during the debate in Halifax. “They may not like what I have to say, but at least they will know where I stand.”
Trudeau said he’s proud of the high-level, positive

campaign he’s running, and he’s been “just as spe-cific” as the other contend-ers. He said Liberals know his views on a number of issues, including his sup-port for the legalization of marijuana and his opposi-tion to the Northern Gate-way oil pipeline.
Trudeau and Garneau took turns attacking Joyce Mur-ray’s proposal to work with the New Democrats and the Green Party to oust the ruling Conservatives in the 2015 election.
Trudeau said making a deal with the NDP ruins a posi-tive approach established when new supporters join the party.
Murray told Trudeau if he
was “listening to Canadi-ans, you would be going after proportional repre-sentation.”
Garneau pressed Murray on how she would form an alliance with NDP leader Tom Mulcair.
Murray said she is propos-ing a “one-time co-opera-tion.”
“Kind of like a Canadian hockey team coming to-gether in the Olympics in 2010 and winning gold and then going back and competing with each other once again,” she said.
Contender Martin Cauchon also reiterated his opposi-tion to a merger with the
NDP.
“If they ever merge with a party, I believe it’s go-ing to be with the Bloc Quebecois,”he said.
He pointed to Claude Pa-try’s defection last week from the NDP to the Bloc.
A final debate will be held March 23 in Montreal be-fore the Liberal leadership convention scheduled for April 14.
Sunday was the final day for leadership hopefuls to sign up new supporters for the party and their candida-cies.

port precautions. “A supervisor from N’Djamena for the vacci-nation campaign in Fada[Faya] has dared to put candy in the Thermos and he put vaccine in the trunk of his car where there was a temperature of more than 45 degrees C while the vaccines should be stored between 2 and 8•c” a local witness source con-firmed.We do not believe in the World Health Organization as an inde-pendent expert. Moreover, the declaration of the WHO [expert] is vague and has created more confusion. It was announced by the WHO and its partners that MenAfriVac is a vaccine that could be main-tained in a chain of controlled temperature (CTC) at tempera-tures up to 40 degrees Celsius for four days.
But, according to the instruc-tions of the manufacturer (SIIL), this information was not entirely correct, as it is said that: “Me-nAfriVac should be stored and transported between 2-8 º C. and be protected from light. The diluent should be stored at 25 ° C. It is recommended that you protect the reconstituted vaccine from direct sunlight”.We confirm that five hundred (500) children received the vac-cine against meningitis in Gauro on December 11-15, 2012. We confirm that one hundred six (106) of them became ill just after taking the vaccine. Thir-tyeight (38), among them be-came seriously sick and were evacuated to N’Djamena. Seven (07) children were also evacuat-ed to Tunisia without consulting their parents.
This lack of communication and information for us, the parents of the children, with both national and international public opinion oppressed, is and has been the biggest flaw of the Ministry of Public Health since the begin-ning of this tragedy. This leads us to suspect an desire to hide is-sues but we see this as a stain. We confirm that our children’s health did not improve until to-day. On Wednesday 23-01-2013, another of our daughters became seriously ill with convulsions. We do not believe that an inde-
pendent medical examination has been carried out and no di-agnosis has been made. We con-firm that no meaningful treat-ment was administered to the children. We believe it is unacceptable to return the paralysed children to their homes, where there is even not a single doctor. We decry that our Department of Health acts against the interests of Chadian children, particularly those who are victims of this medical error. So far the A-Z of the time-line reflecting these outrageous hap-penings around the MenAfriVac vaccination campaign in Chad until today, but it must not be the Alpha and the Omega, because the last word is not spoken and the full truth still must come out to protect the world’s children from the globalist machinations.
Above all still hovers the dark shadow of the question if that what was designed to be achieved by French colonialists like Bugeaud, Gérard, Gallieni, Voulet, Chanoine and so forth, who all committed their war-crimes, atrocities and crimes against humanity under the in-structions from Paris, now shall be achieved with more sublime methods?
So, WHO is crazy?Have the physically sick chil-dren or have the WHO as well as their secret paymasters and obvious vassals gone mad?The biggest question remains in addition: Whom can the affected children and their parents turn to in this world, if the United Nations and a government are implicated themselves? There seems no institution left, whose duty it would be to guarantee now the best medical care, an independent investigation and a just verdict.
Or is there still a guardian angel, who as legal eagle would come forward and fight pro bono on the side of these minority chil-dren all the way through - until their health is at least stabilized and justice can prevail, redress is awarded and the culprits are restrained?
