Jef Jansen established the Lim- burg Ceramic Workshop Cen- tre (Keramisch Werkcentrum Limburg). With his ceramics atelier, he seeks to pique the in- terest of youngsters in the art of pottery-making. This is where you can go for ceramics work- shops and courses under the guidance of an experienced ceramicist, while experienced ceramicists can come here to work independently and use the professional atelier. A variety of events ensure that nobody needs to be bored in Meeuwen-Gruitrode! Horse riding, a village feast, a medieval knight’s feast, ... and a Christmas market in the shade of the Gruitrode Com- mandry. All are highly recom- mended for the atmosphere and conviviality they offer! Allow yourself to be seduced by our cuisine and discover our outstanding establishments! The many pubs, taverns and restaurants are just as surprising and varied as the surrounding natural beauty!
