or CMS?

• A computer application used to create, edit, manage, search, and publish various kinds of digital media and electronic text

• In essence: any type or “unit“ of digital information

• It can be text, images, graphics, video, sound, documents, records etc.

The management of content by combining rules, processes, workflows

A CMS is a tool that enables technical and non technical staff to create, manage and finally publish a variety of content, while being constrained by a set of rules that ensure coherent, validated electronic content.
