- 3GPP2 also references 3GPP IMS, and may also need to be involved in these discussions (for global connection scenarios). Similar situation with OMA, this needs to be considered.
- TISPAN plans approve the appropriate H.248 profile for AGW in May 2005
- Number portability could be an area for cooperation between ETSI TISPAN and ATIS.

- Contains the ATIS Issue 1.0 "NGN Framework document", up to Section 3, sent to TISPAN and other SDOs for comments
- Provides a clear description of the various areas covered by the Framework document
- ATIS welcomes comments from ETSI TISPAN on the content of this document

and 3GPP relating to the development on Fixed access to 3GPP IMS
- Identifies areas of common work- Defines a mechanism for TISPAN to reference 3GPP IMS

- ATIS supports the goal of a single converged and unique IMS Core applicable to 3G Mobile and Fixed NGN
- ATIS PTSC is looking at re-establishing the relationships with TISPAN to discuss issues incl. IP-IP Connect, Security and H.248
- TISPAN would appreciate being informed of the ATIS timescales

6. TISPAN feedback on ATIS Framework
• There appear, at high level, a full alignment between ATIS NGN Framework and the TISPAN views and approaches:
– Business model, Service enablers, Architecture …– No significant differences are anticipated
concerning Regulatory requirements• ATIS expects to pursue
– On priorities, Release definition and planning– Gap analysis, e.g. on the basis of TISPAN_NGN
Release 1• ETSI TISPAN looking for cooperation
– Will inform ATIS NGN FG of progress on their R1– Send feedback on Release definition and gap
analysis
