Meet the world’ssmallest dehumidifiers
ROSAHL - solid polymerelectrolytic dehumidifier
It goes where no other dehumidifier can:
Amazingly small, ROSAHL’s new electrolytic dehumidifier
can be installed in thesmallest of spaces
ROSAHLdehumidifying range
Dehumidification on the smallest of scales!> Low power > No noise > No moving parts
> No trays to empty > Low energy costs > Unique
> Environmentally friendly > Ultra reliable
Suitable for applications you have never thought possible!
The perfect solutionfor protecting valuables and moisture critical enclosures
A world first - developedby a leading globaltechnology company
ROSAHL a new technology that answers all theproblems associated with traditional dehumidification solutions
Traditional dehumidifying solutions are beset withinherent problems, such as size, weight, constantemptying of collection tanks, noise, high powerconsumption and also a limited life expectancy as theyuse moving parts or need gel replacement.
With ROSAHL dehumidification products these problemsare removed as ROSAHL products are extremelycompact and light, do not require any emptying, arecompletely silent, use very little power and have nomoving parts or gel to wear or be replaced.
This unique product literally removes moisture out of theair from an enclosed area (such as a switch cabinet),absorbs it through the unique membrane, and thendischarges it as air on the other side.
Removes moisture and turns it into fresh air!
How do ROSAHLdehumidifiers work?
The principle of how the ROSAHL products work isincredibly simple. The core component is a solidelectrolyte polymer membrane. This special membranehas a very porous inner side which attracts moisture(water droplets) that is in the air. This moisture is thenabsorbed into the membrane.
When the water is in the membrane DC current(electricity) is used to decompose and breakdown thechemical elements of water (H20) into Hydrogen andOxygen ions. These ions are then passed throughthe membrane and then discharged into the open air as gas molecules.
The first dehumidifier to use a solid polymer electrolyte system
What type of applications are ROSAHL products suited for? ROSAHL products are extremely flexible can be used in awide variety of dehumidification applications, ranging fromsterile rooms through to challenging external environmentssuch as externally housed traffic control cabinets.
The moisture extraction rate of ROSAHL products isrelatively low compared to larger and noisier conventionaldesiccant (absorption) and refrigerant (condensing)dehumidifiers, and they are best used in enclosed areasof up to 8 cubed metres (2m3). For suitable capacity perproduct please see the specification charts.
Since ROSAHL products use very little energy comparedto other types of humidification, they can be left to run24hours a day, 365 days a year continuously extractingmoisture from an enclosed area without incurring majorenergy costs. In fact since they need no emptying theycan be left just to get on with the job for years withoutany worries.
Why dehumidify?Having high relative humidity can affect many things suchas electronic products, whose working characteristicscan change dramatically with humidity. Corrosion ofmetals can occur mainly when humidity is over 50%.Reduce humidity to less than 50% and corrosion ofmetals is drastically reduced.
Bacteria (which causes smells and can damage goods)needs humidity over 50% to survive and multiply. Mouldand funguses need a relative high humidity of over 70%to flourish; keep the relative humidity less than 50% for more than 95% of the time will help prevent anyorganic growth.
Typical examples of suitable applications are:> Traffic control and display cabinets > Outdoor multimedia screens and displays
> Telecommunications such as mobile phone outstations > Precision equipment storage cabinets
> Museum displays and exhibition cabinets > Reduction of mould in closed rooms > Odour reduction
> Storage of hydroscopic materials > Semiconductor manufacturing
