CCA Stand Down and Leadership Handover

• CCA stand down: Term 2, Week 5• Students encouraged to make the most of their final lap in

Starting from 2019, the CCA commitment period for all IP-DSA students is 4 years. IP students are still expected to commit to their IP school/programme for six years.

Absence from tests / examinations must be covered by a medical certificate valid for the period of absence, stating that student is unfit for the assessment.

Promotion to EJC

Promotion to JC1 is based on students’ overall Yr 3-4 performance derived from AAs, Mid-Year Assessments and Year-End examinations.

Minimum attainment level:

• Average cumulative academic mark* of 65% for best 6 subjects**

• Cumulative academic mark of 50% for any two of the remaining subjects (inclusive of EL)

• Fulfil all World Readiness Programme and Passion Pursuit requirements * 30% of Year 3 overall mark + 70% of Year 4 overall mark ** Must include 1 first language, 1 Math, 1 Science and 1 Humanities subjectCCA may be included as the 7th subject.

Registration for O Level Exams

Based on SEAB guidelines, IP students may be registered for up to 3 ‘O’ Level subjects from the following list as school candidates:

• Higher Mother Tongue Language • Foreign Language (3rd Language students) • Higher Art or Higher Music (AEP/MEP students)

Students currently studying in government schools will be unable to register as private candidates
