L'Wren Scott, a noted fashion designer and girlfriend of musician Mick Jagger, was found dead of anapparent suicide Monday, March 17, according to a law enforcement official. She was 49.

Aspokesman for Mick Jagger said the singer was completely shocked and devastated by the news. Thecouple had been dating since at least 2003.
