IS IT BETTER TO HAVE A THRILLER WITH:

Page 8: MediaThrillers questionaire mise en scene

From asking a target audience of 10 people aged 15-16, I found that everyone in this group liked suspenseful style

thrillers, that contain deaths and chase scenes. from this I know what to include in the rest of my thriller, as well as in the opening. In order to hook the audience I know now that I must include a chase scene, seeing as this was a popular aspect that they wanted to see. They also preferred clear

lighting for most of the time, and when asked, a few of them expressed that after a while of watching dim lit films they got bored, and felt that they were straining their eyes. This would not be effective in building suspense so I must

ensure to avoid this when filming my thriller.
