AboutUs● The Weston & Worle View is a free community magazine based

in Weston-super-Mare, offering local news and articles of interest.We offer a unique marketing mix of advertising, listings, editorial and artwork as well as leaflet design, print and distribution, web design, consultation and hosting.

● Published monthly, we cover not only Weston-super-Mare and Worle but the local villages in the vicinity; a substanstial area of North West Somerset’s coastal region from Burnham-on-Sea in the south, to Kewstoke and Sandbay to the north; the northern areas of the Somerset Levels including Axbridge and Wedmore as well as the villages of Sandford, Banwell, Winscombe, Churchill and Congresbury.

● We currently distribute to over 150 local outlets (including Asda, Morrisons and the Coop) and have less than a 1-2% return rate each month.

● With regular monthly features, The Weston & Worle View is a popular and informative pick-up and keep magazine. The publication includes:

● Council News, Events and Informative Articles ● Local News, Articles, History etc. ● Features and Editorials ● What’s On, Events, Festivals and Local Music Guide ● Puzzles and Competitions ● Local and national business advertisements

● Our monthly readership is currently estimated at a healthy 15-25,000 and expanding. This not only includes the local populace but our readership is added to by the large visiting ‘holiday-maker’ population.

● Magazine advertising starts from a little as £15 per month for a 16th style advert (based on a 12 month booking).

● The Weston & Worle View is also published online on the ISSUU Publishing website, as a flip book for easy viewing and downloading, as soon as we send the magazine to print.

● Produced by a local network of professionals with vast experience within Advertising, Design, Studio, Print, Sales and Marketing, Copywriting, Event Management and Promotion industries.

THE TECHNICAL INFORMATION –

Supplied�Artwork�Specifications

File�format – artwork should be saved in PDF, EPS, TIFF or JPEG format. We only accept Word or Excel documents for copy only.

If you have created your ad in MS Publisher, then please refer to the formats above.

Bleed – if imagery, graphic or background colour bleeds off the page then at least a 3mm bleed on all sides is required for full page advert. If supplying a HiRes PDF, do include any printers marks i.e. crop marks.

Resolution – Artwork for magazine adverts should be 300 dpi.

Colour – Artwork for magazine should be in CMYK process colour format.

Fonts – All fonts should be embedded or converted outlines.

Terms & ConditionsTerms and Conditions

1. Pony Publishing Limited makes ever effort to ensure the accuracy of the information contained within its’ publications, but cannot be held responsible for any losses incurred through any errors or omissions in such information – which is provided in good faith.

2. The inclusion of any advertiser, article or event within its publications does not constitute any endorsement, explicit or implicit, of any goods, services or information contained therein.

3. Pony Publishing Limited cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions contained within artwork supplied by the advertiser. Once submitted for the current month’s publication, alterations to such artwork – including re-submission – will incur an administration fee. Any such alterations must be received before the advertised deadline date.

4. Artwork created by Pony Publishing Limited must be approved, in writing or email, by the advertiser/commissioner, by the advertised deadline date. Pony Publishing Limited cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions contained within such artwork once approval has been given. In the absence of approval - or rejection - of such artwork, by the advertised deadline date, Pony Publishing Limited may assume approval and publish the artwork at the agreed advertising rate.

5. Material alterations - including dates, contact details, etc. – made to artwork originally created by Pony Publishing Limited will incur additional fees.

6. All artwork remains the Intellectual Property (IP) of its creator. It is the responsibility of the creator to ensure they have express consent to use any material from the owner of its’ IP, and Pony Publishing Limited cannot be held responsible for any losses caused due to the unauthorised use of such material.

7. Any images submitted for use in artwork created by Pony Publishing Limited is subject to the same conditions as (6) above. Ownership of any IP created by Pony Publishing Limited may be transferred to its commissioner on receipt of the appropriate fee.

8. Right to change or omit - The Publisher reserves the right within reason to omit, or change the position of a advertisement unless informed by us in writing. The position of full page advertisements cannot be guaranteed.

Payment�Terms(a) Payment is always required prior to insertion and is due on presentation of invoice.

(b) Should the customer withhold or fail to make a payment within 30 days of the invoice date the customer will be wholly responsible for any expenses incurred by Pony Publishing in recovery of the outstanding debt.

(c) A fee of £40.00 will be automatically charged for any invoice unpaid after 30 days. Invoices which remain unpaid hereafter will be subject to court action.

(d) In signing this Order Form you are agreeing to pay the amount stated in full.

(e) A booking can be cancelled before the 21st of any given month however payment will still be required in full as per you booking.

(f) Your advertisement must be with us by our deadline date which is the 21st of each month any advertisements which arrive with us after that date will be omitted from the next Issue of the magazine and your booking fee for that month will be due in full.
