How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

I wanted to create a theme throughout my film of the colour red to symbolise blood and therefore the transmission of the HIV disease. It was really important to link the theme of HIV between all of my media products.I created synergy throughout my products. I also wanted the main emphasis to be on my character Alice.
World Aids Day Ribbon My first treatment of my film included a scene of the main
character getting ready to go out, looking healthy and positive, and putting on a red World Aids Day ribbon badge. This badge is red too.
This is a snapshot from the first initial filming of the positive and proud scene. I no longer use this scene in my film because the main actressdropped out.

Fonts To help create synergy I used the same font for
the working title in all three of my media products.
The font I used was called A Typewriter for Me. I chose this font because it I thought it would appeal to my target audience This is because it looks fun yet formal.

As well as the world aids day ribbon, I stuck to a colour scheme of using white, black and red.

Images I used imagery in my media products to
have an emotional effect on my audience. I used photos which I snapped from the film
which had an emotional impact, so that it drew in my audience.
