Energy Efficiency Incentives-Energy Trust

Recommendation: Apply for Energy Trust of Oregon-Electric Conservation incentives.

Electric Motors: $10/hp for Premium EfficiencyBased upon 200 hp = $2,000

Incentive

Solar Ready-Electric

Recommendation: Make facility ready for solar PV installation.

South facing roof or solar shade ~27º pitch

Architectural standing seam roofConduits and space for inverterApply for SEP Grants

Water Heating - Solar

Recommendation: Consider solar thermal on outdoor facility only if natural gas incentives and BETC PT tax credits are available. Up to 140,000 BTUs of thermal power per square foot. Can be very cost effective. Only 36.8% BETC PT available now.

Water Heating - Solar

Recommendation: Consider thermal solar if BETC PT and natural gas incentives are available. A year-around-facility requires thermal panels that can withstand cold and are 4 X the cost.
