MECHANICAL ENGINEERING NEWS Capstone Projects - May, 2004 - A Special Edition A newsletter for the UML Mechanical Engineering community (also available online at http://mechanical.uml.edu) Any items you would like to see included in the newsletter or any suggestions/comments? Please email them to: [email protected] or leave them with Jackie Paradise in the Mech Eng office. Capstone Project 2004 Every year the seniors are required to work on a capstone project. The intent is to work on a multi-disciplinary project in a team environment solving either an problem with an industrial sponsor or related research item in conjunction with a faculty member. The students spend the whole semester working on their individual projects. The final presentations were made on Thursday May 13 th . This newsletter is dedicated to those projects undertaken by the students. Several photos are shown here of the different groups and their projects. Congratulations to all those students who participated.

Mechanical Engineering Capstone Students – May 2004

Here is a collection of students from the Graduating Class from Mechanical Engineering in June 2004 that participated in the capstone design projects and should be proud of their overall accomplishments.
