Computational Fluid Dynamics or CFD is

predicting what will happen, quantitatively, in the

analysis of systems involving fluid flow, heat transfer

and associated phenomena such as chemical reactions

by means of computer based simulations.

The technique is very powerful and spreads a wide

range of industrial and non industrial applications.

Wind Tunnels

Tool which is used in aerodynamic research to study the

effect of air moving past around solid objects.

Results of wind tunnel can be validate through CFD

techniques so its called manual CFD.

Our design achievement in design of wind tunnels are

subsonic tunnels with high mach number (0.5-0.9) flow rate

at 80m/s, supersonic tunnels with storage tank with anechoic

system at mach 2.

Turbine Blade Stress Analysis

Turbine blade is the major part in Aero Domain.

Work of turbine is to convert low pressure to high

pressure and to send hot gases to Nozzle through

Nozzle guide vanes and also to withstand High

temp gas which comes out from Combustion

chamber,

Our CFD,FEA analysis on turbine blade is at

36000 rpm with1200’C temp to choose High

temperature material like Inconel 710,720,Udinet

720,RR 1000,Li 720Ni which is suitable for all

conditions.

the event of a CO high level (>100 PPM [Parts

Per Million] ) is avoided at short term exposure

of 30 minutes.

Fire Case Scenario

This is a post fire smoke management

system, thus in the event of fire, there is a

clear view of over 30m from any corner

of the car park to the nearest means of

escape point within 45 minutes, after the

fire starts.

From Airflow, CO and Fire conditions,

we can conclude whether the ventilation

system provided is effective or not.

Cyclone Heat Exchanger

Cyclones have been one of the oldest and most popular devices

for the removal of dispersed particles from the carrying gas flow

because of the simple design and ability to operate at high

loading.

Determining the holdup mass and the time required by the

particle to reach the bottom of the Cyclone Heat Exchanger

using CFD analysis by varying the size, mass flow rate and

position of solid particles.

Holdup mass is inversely proportional to velocity if velocity

increase holdup mass will decrease.
