In Bulgaria traditionally are painted eggs. The Easter ritual bread (Kozunak)

is usually made in a round shape. It’s decorated in different ways and in the

middle of it’s put a red egg. On the Easter table we usually have Kozunak,

One of the Christmas Eve costumes is related with the ritual bread. It’s put in it a small coin. When the family starts eating the oldest man breaks the bread over his head and gives away small pieces of bread to the family and who get the coin is going

to be lucky.
