This is POVERTY.

They sit in small shacks.

They feel lonely and unloved

This is POVERTY

Many diseases,

Take the life of many kids.

That suffer threw life.

There are so many,

That suffer more than we do.

That is POVERTY.

The Fine Education

Rebecca: Hello my name is rebecca and I will be interviewing a teacher and her name is miss Ababa how do you feel about education children?

Miss Ababa: I really like to teach children; it has always been a a dream of mine since I was a child.

Rebecca: How do you feel when you are with your students?

Miss Ababa: I feel comfortable with my students, they teach me new thing and they keep me entertained.

Rebecca:Are you comfortable with kids not even going to school?

Miss Ababa: I am very disappointed that many kids in town or other towns canʼt or donʼt want to go to school, because I think every child should be educated.

Rebecca:How do you feel about half the kids in your town not going to school and most of them are girls?

Miss Ababa : I dislike the fact hat many girl canʼt go to school.

Rebecca: Well those were interesting remarks. Well that all for now see you next time on UN news.

Education for all women     The goal for goal three is to promote gender equality empowers women. The target for goal three is eliminate gender disparity in primary and secondary education, preferably by 2005, and in all levels of education no taller that 2015. Now for some information, women play vital roles within families and in society as a whole. Many women suffer the disadvantage of gender 

inequality right from birth. Progress has been made in reducing the number of girl not in school, but there is still a long way to go. A possible solution for goal three is make it fair for women. For example if you are in the same position as a man and he gets paid more money that isn’t fair for the women, so my solution is make it fair for women.     

Rachel­ Hello I am Rachel and I will be interview Katarina who had a baby   

which died because the baby was unhealthy. I have chose to interview Katarina because she has experienced this problem

Rachel­ Katarina how do you feel without your baby?

Katarina­ I feel sad, lonely, depressed, and miserable without her.

Rachel­ would you like to have another baby?

Katarina- I will on get my courage back to have another baby is if they get better   

equipment to deliver a baby with.

Rachel­ Do you think you have any diseases that might have prevented the babies death?

Katarina­ I don’t think I have any diseases but I don’t have the money to check.

Rachel- How would you feel if they got professional doctors and very good 

equipment?

Katarina­ I would feel really comfortable and would be willing to have another 

Baby.

Pretty Persuasive Letter 

There was a boy called Gamba and he died before reaching the age of 4. I would like to write a persuasive letter to Ede who was treating Gamba but he has saved many lives so I wan to write to him to tell him what is happening.

Dear Ede, 

I  am  a  UN  reporter  and  I would like  to  talk  to  you about Goal 4‐ to reduce the number of babies and children who die. The reason I wanted to talk to you is because it is a goal of ours a to achieve by the 2015,  the goal is to reduce the number of babies and children who die. This is a serious concern of ours that about  11 million kid or babies die each year because  it  could be prevented  by  clean water,  sanitation,  good  food and health care. The  thing  that  might  have  caused  it might  have  been  repertory illness, measles, diarrhea, and malaria. 

Now  that you seen what is happening and what  is  causing it  I have two solutions for you, let more people know about what is  happening,  and  raise  awareness.  I  think  that  more  people should help.

Cloua’s Miracle

Once there was a girl called Cloua she lived with her family in a small village in Kenya, Africa. She lived in a small shack with her two brothers, mom, and dad. Cloua’s Great grand father built a well before dying of AIDS. He made the well because he didn’t want his villagers to walk miles away to fetch a bucket of water. Cloua was very nice to every one she has long black hair, dark skin and is very short. She has two best friends Pazy and Jaze. Pazy and Jaze are both the complete opposite, Pazy was very tall and had a small family. Jaze is very short with a big family. They would always play with each other and sit 

next to the old well that her great grand father built. One day Cloua, Pazy, and Jaze had Yinished playing by the well and were going home. Then two boys from the other village walked past and rolled their eyes. The next day cloua went to the well with her friends as usual and saw that the well was broken. After a few days with Cloua sobbing over the thought of the well beginning broken. She had an idea every one in the village can help her build a new well. A few days of exhausting work and it has Yinally paid off, but they didn’t know what to call it then Pazy thought of a wonderful name the wishing well she said with delight so they called it the wishing well from then on and people pray and wish for 

what they want or need help in. A few days later Cloua saw that her mom contracted HIV virus Cloua ran to the well and wish her mom could get better. Then a miracle had happened the government heard about Cloua’s mom who was very sick and gave her so very expensive medicine8to cure her. From then on Cloua, Pazy, Jaze plus their families were safe and healthy.

Government  letter

I have written a letter to the government because I think they need to work on cleaning up the environment. In so many countries there are slum dwellers that are surrounded by trash and can barley walk a clean path.

  Dear Government,

   I am Rachel and I have written a persuasive letter to you about goal seven to clean up the environment.  Better environments are possible for everyone all you have to do is through away and recycle trash. One of the targets for goal seven is reduce by half the proportion of people without access to safe and clean water, the second target is achieve a signiYicant improvement in lives of at least 100 million slum dwellers.  Now that you have heard about slum dwellers and trash that you should though away, now you should help the environment.

Fair trade 

These are some fast facts, which you can learn about goal eight.

‐  The world trading system is currently unfair, and based against developing countries.

‐Trade could bring posterity to developing countries if the rules were applied fairly.

‐Aid alone cannot enable poor countries to Yight poverty.

‐In 2007 aid given rich countries represented just 0.28 per cent of their income.

‐Every year the leaders of the richest and most powerful nations meet to discuss issues of the importance to people of all countries.

‐The eighth goal also calls for more and better aid.

‐Aid must also be given a long term and predictable has is.

‐ I f rich countries had all met their promises made in 1970 to give 0.7 percent of their incomes.
