Promoting Football

Founded in 1998 by handful sport enthusiast. Based in the suburb of Mulund. Affiliated with the MDFA since 2002. Currently playing in MDFA Division III. Managed by Youths from diverse backgrounds.

STRIKERS SPORTS CLUBBRIEF:

OBJECTIVES:

Promote Team Sports. Promote Sports for All. Increase Girls participation. Encourage Excellence and Fair Play. To be Socially and Financially sustainable.

STRIKERS SPORTS CLUB

Train and Participate in the MDFA League.

Build Girls football team to participate in the Women’s League.

Train under 12 and 14 children.

Organize football tournaments. Spread awareness about the work done by MDFA.

Producing players to play in the higher leagues. Providing opportunity to the football enthusiasts from suburban Mumbai. Girls involvement in football getting recognition.

STRIKERS SPORTS CLUBOUTCOME:

Community conflict solving using football. Creating safe environment to play football for all. Successful organization of Football Tournaments in Mulund.

The programme intends to expose the children living at the Mulund Dumping Ground to the various expects of life through Football.

Right, respect, responsibility, gender, opportunity, vision are some of the points we indirectly put forward while training Football.

Presently The Ball Project connects to 80 families of the community through Football and Play.

The Ball Project visit to the I-League match at the Cooperage Ground with the Strikers Sports Club players.
