If you opened this document is because you are attending to your leadership call. What is having right now? Why did you open this application?

Welcome to AIESEC in Guatemala Member Committee 15.16 Application Form!

AIESEC in Guatemala is called to be Bigger and Relevant. This is not an option, is a commitment that we assume.  Generation 15.16 must to fulfill the promise we started in 14.15 term and also start to drive AIESEC in Guatemala to the 2020 mid term vision.

Being MCEB 15.16 of @Guatemala means break through limits and achievement the history of a country that now like never before needs entrepreneurial and responsible leadership. Being MCEB 15.16 means keep growing, keep the purpose and lead the Gen 2015 to deliver the best AIESEC Guatemala ever.

For me,  It is a pleasure to have you here as one of the brave candidates that will make part of a process that is so important for AIESEC in Guatemala! I wish you vision, purpose, clarity and actions to run this process.

The MCEBThe Member Committee Executive Board is the highest leadership and management body of AIESEC in Guatemala. The MCP is the overall responsible for organizational direction and works with National Directors and the Board of Presidents and external bodies such as Government, Supervisory Group among others in the fulfilment of this role.

Apart from this core role, the MCEB ensures:

• National Planning and Direction;• Development and Growth of the country and the region;•Management of Regional Leadership Team (EBs and NSTs);• Conference Cycle Planning and realization;• International and Global Network Responsibilities;• Information & Resources Distribution;• Development of External Partnerships.

JD MCVP F&L

Responsibilities:

To ensure financial sustainability of AIESEC in Guatemala.To ensure proper finance management.To ensure proper investment and reserves management.To support financial governance and transparency of AIESEC in Guatemala.To ensure legality of AIESEC in Guatemala activities.To manage internal and external legal issues.To ensure proper education of membership regarding financial and legality issues and policies.Coordinate the F&L area at local level (preparation of the VPs, organize functional meetings).Filling in global surveys and reports when necessarily and related to the JD.Facilitate BD, ICX and OGX processes.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:Ensuring the financial sustainability and legality of

JD MCVP BD

Responsibilities:

To sustain all existing partnerships of AIESEC in Guatemala by regular interaction, contract negotiations and fidelization. Delivery IGIP National Accounts.Manage communication and relationships along with the MCVP ICX/OGX for exchange products portfolio and evolution at National and Local Level.To implement and evolve the national account management and sales system, and work closely withdifferent AIESEC entities to ensure its success.Evolution of the External Relations area and strategic alignment of products and partnershipsExpand and manage Global Partners accounts in GuatemalaEvolution of the Business Development area and strategic alignment of products and partnershipsBudget tracking together with MCVP F&L

After ElectionsTransition Responsibilities

Official transition starts virtually immediately after election.Elected MCVPs are required to be in Guatemala City physically on the 18th May 2015 for MCEBTransition and for the preparation of the Congress of June.

Transition Conditions and Costs

Accommodation will be provided for MCEB Members elected.The following individual costs will not be covered during transition: Travel (tickets), Food and Transportation.First MCEB salary will be paid 15 days after the beginning of the 15.16 term by middle of July 2015.

Insurance Preparation

As MCEB team members, you need to have a general health insurance for the year.

MCEB LifeSalary

The monthly salary is 300 USD paid in Quetzales which is 2400 Quetzales per month, paid in to half, one on the 15 th and the other one on the 30th. The salary is enough to afford basic personal expenses and needs in Guatemala City.

You can eat outside for less than 25 quetzales and if you cook by yourself you spend less. Transportation is not a problem because the bus (Transmetro or Transurbano) cost only 1 quetzal and is near from our house and office.

MCEB salary fully depends on the financial capability and the current MCEB performance (with a trend to increase in the future) hence the amount may vary and the exchange rate may also define how much is paid out in local currency.

Other Costs Covered

AIESEC in Guatemala covers to every MCEB member the following costs:

Accommodation (rent and servicies) in the MCEB house.National conferences fees and travel expenses.Travel for purposes of AIESEC in Guatemala, like for account management, according to national priorities and budget available, are covered. Personal travel and moving expenses in Guatemala are not.The support for MC members to go to International Conferences depends on the financial situation during the term.

Living Conditions

We have a house located near bus stops. We are 4 blocks from the bus stop that will leave us in the office.

The house has 5 bedrooms with its own bathrooms; internet all over the house; an equipped kitchen; laundry room with whashing and drying machines; big living and dining room; and a garden.

The address is 3ra Avenida, 9-02, Zona 9, Guatemala City.

Working Conditions

Our office is in a Coworking Space known as Chamba. There we have the necessary infrastructure to work: server, desk spaces, printer, Wi-Fi, phone, whiteboards, kitchen with microwave and fridge (so you can bring your food to the office), conference room with video bim, ping pong table, etc. Nevertheless, MCEB Members are required to bring their own laptops for their work since is not provided by AIESEC in Guatemala.Also we are 4 blocks from the bus stop that will leave us in the MC House. The address is Vía 5, 1-23, Zona 4.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 40 hours per week. Work on weekends: sometimes mostly during Team Days, Coaching Visits, Summits, Conferences and other planned meetings.

1. What are the main principles/values that drive your behavior.2. What is leadership for you? Briefly describe your leadership style.3. What ‘s your life plan for the next 10 years and how is connected with the role of MCEB in AIESEC in

Guatemala?4. What kind of leader do you need to be in order to lead AIESEC in Guatemala network in the 15.16 term?5. Application video: Please record a introduction video of your application and attach the link in this

questionnaire. The duration must be maximum 5 minutes. It is expected for you to express yourself and orally talk at least in some moment of the video. Include your personal presentation and previous experience in AIESEC. Answer to the following questions: What do you envision for AIESEC Guatemala 2015.2016? 1. The AIESEC states that our members are interested in Leadership, Management and world Issues. Analyzes AIESEC in Guatemala’s membership:

• How true is this statement for our membership?• What we need to do in order to change/improve our membership behaviors and profiles to ensure

this statement is true?2. During our term, the vision and goals for 2020 will be launched and the execution will begin. Think about the current status of the organization, and visualize 2020. How would you describe 2020 globally and nationally in 2020? How to make sure that we will achieve 2015 in AIESEC in Guatemala and be ready for 2020 without losing the focus?

Application Questionnaire

1. What do you think we should do as AIESEC to maintain relations with different Stakeholders and continue boosting sales and the number of agreements? Think principally in current relationships with Universities, Companies, Trainees and Government.

2. Exemplify what would be the correct flow in a business meeting to sign an agreement that could influence an operational area (OGX-ICX) or to generate income to the national committee. What could be the portfolio in any of these cases?

3. Develop a six month brief operational timeline for a BD Team comprised of one BD Ceeder and 4 NST. Consider the focus of sales in OGX products and the Account Management of current national IGIP accounts that generate Re-raising.

1. Analyze the current work of the Talent Management area at the local level . Which would be your main strategies to ensure a effective Team Standards implementation for the LCs? Please present a clear implementation plan.

2. What TM&OD strategies could contribute to a LC in Guatemala reach 100 RE in OGCDP? How can we use R&R to reach this growth? How can you track the network to guarantee this growth?

3. What are the main behaviors AIESEC Guatemala needs to have in the 15.16 context? Why and what you do as MCVP TM&OD to lead the network into these behaviors?

4. What are the main changes that need to happen in the organization to guarantee that leadership development is happening in every experience?

1. Guatemala faces dificulty to attract EPs for both the iGCDP program and iGIP progam. What will be your strategy in order to ensure supply for both programs. (Please give a comprehensive answer taking into account that you will be responsible for the marketing of these programs as well)

2. Suppose, a new VP iGIP just got hired in one of the LCs and it comes out that this person is working full time. What will you do?

3. One of your local iGIP teams raised a new TN three months ago and this account still isn't matched, taking into account the reputation of AIESEC Guatemala, what will you do?

4. Suppose, for reasons of the global network you have to change the ICX program that is being managed on local level. However, some of your LCs already have some accounts they are managing. How will you organize this transition?

1. How will be your work with the network and our customers to improve our OGX sales? Think in all that it is needed to pass from a sign up to a match.

2. How will you match all our GCDP and GIP EPs and what should be our country partners to do so? Why those countries?

3. Which IXP initiatives to work with TM do you have in mind to guarantee members going on exchange or EP’s convert into members?

4. What will be your main marketing strategies to promote Global Citizen in a way that guarantees a better conversion rate from sign up to apply? How will you guarantee the implementation of these strategies? List at minimum 3 and explain each one.
