A husband and wife were recipients of benevolent care. He said, “It is hard for me to know that someone else is helping pay my bills, but it does relieve so much of my worry. I can be more cheerful around my wife. We still enjoy times together
when she has a good day.”
His daughter has noticed a positive change in him since the burden of debt had been eased. She said “he hates to see Momma in her condition, but we are so grateful to McKendree Village and the people who give to the Golden Cross fund for
benevolent care. I don’t know what we would have done without it!”
