ChartEMERGENCY TREATMENT
FOR POISONOUS SNAKEBITES
1. Tie a constricting band 2 to 4 inches above the wound.
2. Clean the wound with alcohol.
3. Make two shallow vertical incisions at the puncture points.
4. Draw the venom from the wound.
5. Wash the area thoroughly with soap and water.
6. Apply cold compresses.
