And, bioethics wrapped up the semester by creating Mars colonies where students will deal with a variety of bioethical problems. The MC 2 Film Festival Audrey Hepburn once said, “Everything I learned, I learned from the movies.” It’s ap- propriate, then, that Arts and Humanities stu- dents learned so much while writing, filming, scoring, and editing their own original short films. First, we attended the MKE Film Festival and then we dove in headfirst to the movie making process. Students had the opportunity to screen their films for the entire school. Finally, students attended the star- studded Abelyn Awards to be recognized for their accomplishment. “A Taco Between Us,” “The Girl in the Wrong Generation,” Some of the creators and stars of “Shell Shocked” on the red carpet with their Abelyn Awards.
