Pet Day is one of the highlights of the school year
for the children and the community. The whole
community is invited, including local kindergartens
and playcentres. Out of the 30 judges asked, most
of them are living in or have strong ties with our
community. Many parents take a days annual leave
so they can make it to Pet Day. We have market
stalls selling a variety of items for adults and children
and there is a cafe serving delicious morning teas.
At lunchtime we crank up the BBQ in time to enjoy
the entertainment and prizegiving.
There are various activities like hair makeovers,
tattoos, chocolate wheel, vintage tractor and trailer
rides and a bouncy castle.
