Breast cancer touches the lives of everyone from ev-ery background and in every community across ourNation, including our knanaya community. Though wehave made great strides in combating this devastatingillness, more than 200,000 women will be diagnosedwith breast cancer this year, and tens of thousands areexpected to lose their lives to the disease. While mostpeople are aware of breast cancer, many forget to takethe steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its earlystages and encourage others to do the same.
With the theme of Breast cancer awareness KCSWomen’s Forum will be conducting a play for life tour-nament on June 23rd with the KCS Picnic starting at1200 noon. There will be a throw ball tournament forLadies and a Kapadi tournament for the Guys. Every-one who registers to play will pay $5 and the moneycollected will be donated to American cancer society. We request all of you to come and support us, registerto play in a team or sponsor someone to play. Remem-ber to play if you care, more people play more lives canbe saved from this tragic disease.
