COURSE DESCRIPTIONThis course is designed for high level arthroscopists and focuses on the current techniques for multi-ligament knee reconstruction. The latest in ACL, PCL, MCL/Posteromedical Corner and FCL/Posterolateral Corner surgical techniques are addressed. There will be two attendees with one faculty member per lab station, short didactic sessions followed by lab time with expert faculty all designed to maximize surgical experience.
COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVESUpon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:• Examine the dislocated or presumed dislocated knee with a thorough
neurovascular assessment which may include advanced imaging.• Recognize the heterogeneity of the injury patterns and develop
treatment plans for each of the treatment patterns that are commonly seen in the knee-dislocated patient.
• Develop a treatment strategy for timing of surgical management and type of surgical management.
• Perform multi-ligament knee reconstruction with regards to surgical technique, graft utilization and fixation strategies.

INTENDED AUDIENCEThis course is designed for orthopedic surgeons with a background in either sports medicine and/or traumatology that would see patients of this nature on a regular basis.

DATE AND LOCATIONKnee Dislocation and Multiligament Knee Reconstruction will be held May 11-12, 2017. Course headquarters will be located in the Stabile Building, 150 Third Street SW on the 9th Floor.
