Let Us Worship the Lord Together! Sunday, July 4, 2021 11:00 a.m. (Place Communication Card in basket at exit.) Independence Day Today, as a collective, we celebrate the birth of our nation and the cherished freedoms and memories for which we are most thankful. We will enjoy good food and fellowship as we gather together after service in honor of our beloved country. Yet, the Christian is reminded that his ultimate duty and citizenship lies with Christ and his kingdom. As the apostle Paul reminded the church at Galatia: “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” Our priceless freedom is a gift of God, used most beautifully in service to his perfect will.
