Good Morning Gentlemen, I hope you are having a great week. I just wanted to thank you for using Eric Ryan. The monthly fee we pay them is well worth it when they do all the heavy lifting with the utility companies. Update on Viperizer Sponsor: Hoyt Mohr  Last  issue,  we  were  introduced  to  Katie  Mohr’s  son,  Hoyt.   Viperizer had recently made the decision to sponsor the  five‐year old kart  racer.   At  that  time,  the Viperizer  logo had not yet been added to his race kart.  As you can see below, Hoyt’s kart has been updated and is looking very sleek!

Upon being asked what his  favorite  aspect  of  racing  is,  Hoyt’s  reply was,  “Passing  people  because  I  get  closer  to  being  number one.”  ERC wishes Hoyt  the  best  of  luck  in  the  rest  of  his  seasonal races and in the Kid Kart Nationals in St. Louis  in July!

Jamie Barile Thanks ERC

ERC recently raised funds for Jamie Barile, a Lincoln High School graduate who suffers from the debilitating Wilson’s disease. Money raised will fund Jamie to visit a Wilson’s Disease specialist in Michigan that her insurance does not cover.

A goal of $300 was set for this cause. We exceeded the goal! Jamie sent a card to ERC, thanking us for the donations. She will now be able to visit the Wilson’s Disease specialist at the University of Michigan who will hopefully be able to help her make progress in her health.

ERC wishes Jamie the best while waiting for a cure.

Romans’ Rescue Invites You to “Walk for a Dog” By Tawnya Roman

Spring is here and lots of us have started to walk outside again. Would it motivate you to exercise if you knew that every mile you walked helped a rescue dog? Romans’ Rescue has been approved as a Wooftrax shelter! What does that mean? It means that every time you take a walk or run, Romans’ Rescue can receive a donation per mile of that walk! All you need to do is download the free app on your Android or iPhone – “Walk for a Dog.” If you do not have a dog to register, choose “Walk for Cassie.” After you download the app onto your smartphone, take the phone with you when you walk. Simply press “Start Walking for Romans’ Rescue” button and the app

will keep track of your walk. When you finish, “Stop” your walk and the rescue of your choice (hopefully Romans’) will be credited with your miles walked. It’s that simple. We would greatly appreciate your support if you are out and about walking or running. Thank you in advance!

On Thursday, April 23, ERC participated in “Bring Your Child to Work Day.” School age children of employees (Kindergarten through 12th grade) were permitted to come into the

office and work alongside their parent for the day.

Pizza was provided for both students and staff for lunch. At the end of the day, the kids had the opportunity to step inside the “Money Machine” and win big! Students scurried to snag as much

cash out of the air as possible during their time in the machine.

It was quite an educational and fun day for those who participated!

Telarus Awards ERC Pens Game Box Seats By Matt Blinn

A fantastic opportunity came to light when Telarus, an ERC business partner, presented a chance to earn a prize. The rules were simple - we tell them what we want and they tell us what we need to do in order to earn that prize. We set our eyes on a pretty lofty goal. In our case, the telecom department had to sell $100,000 worth of monthly carrier services, making the total contract value of the services sold in excess of $3.6 million.

To sell 3.6 million dollars worth of anything, you need a team and that’s exactly what we have in the telecommunications department. No individual can do their job without the person before them and after them doing their job. That fact made our decision easy - we were going to pick something that allowed everyone to enjoy the success from being a part of this team. The catch was that if we did not hit our goal, we would receive nothing at all. However, we accepted the challenge and in the end, we won! The ensuing prize was a private suite at the Consol Energy Center for a Pittsburgh Penguin’s game. The suite accommodated 30 attendees and included a buffet, large flat screen TV’s, private restrooms, quality seating, access to the Captain Morgan Club and a round trip bus ride to and from the arena. We even got free hats!

The hockey game, which took place on Saturday, March 28th at 1 o’clock was entertaining and provided both blood on the ice and pucks in the net! The Pens won and most importantly, everyone got to enjoy a once in a life time event with the team they work alongside day in and day out.

Easter Bunny Hops Through ERC

Children and Grandchildren of ERC employees stopped by the office on Friday, April 3rd for a fun-filled afternoon of Easter festivities. Kiddos participated in an

egg hunt throughout the office and had the opportunity to take photos with the ERC Easter Bunny (Mia DeCaria) and receive yummy treats. A fun time was had by all!
