The Souris Show Hall Foundation has received funding from the Department of Canadian Heritage as well as PEI Rural Development to conduct a feasibility study exploring the transformation of the Souris Show Hall and the adjacent historic W.H. Leard building into a Cultural Hub.It is the vision of the Foundation that a Cultural Hub will serve the Town of Souris and the wider Eastern Kings region and contribute in a meaningful way to the revitalization of Souris as a cultural, tourist and economic centre.

There will be a Souris Canada Day Mouse Hunt that will require pre-registration. There will also be the traditional raising of the flag, opening remarks and some entertainment. All activities on Canada Day will be following CPHO guidelines. We are looking for 3 volunteers to help with the Mouse Hunt Challenges. Souris Artisans on Main Opening in June! NEW LOCATION!! We are looking for artists of all mediums to be part of Artisans on Main Souris for the 2021 season. Happy belated anniversary!! 2021 will be our 5th anniversary, in what would have been our 6th year. But let’s not dwell on the past. We want you to know that the Points East Lighthouse Run/Relay committee is busy planning for this special celebration which will be held on Saturday June 12, 2021. We are currently working with the CPHO on our operational plan. This event is SOLD OUT with 8 on the waiting list. Thank you everyone for showing such great support!
