Why is it so difficult to tolerate the faults of others?
Have we forgotten that Jesus bore our sins?

It is better to have a Church that is wounded but out
in the streets than a Church that is sick because it is
closed in on itself.

From the Pastor’s Desk
This weekend we celebrate the feast of Pentecost. This is the coming of the Holy
Spirit upon the Apostles and the celebrated beginning of the Church. From the power of
the Spirit, the Apostles lost their fear, left the upper room and courageously went out to
preach and live the Good News. This is also the end of the Easter Season – the fifty days of celebration of new life in the resurrection of Christ.
Please be aware of the following: THIS Sunday, May 24th – is the last Sunday 5:00 p.m. Mass for the
season. The summer schedule will begin, and the Sunday 5:00 p.m. will resume in September.
Don’t forget our PARISH PICNIC on Sunday, June 7th, from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. This is always a
wonderful afternoon for all ages. Please join us for delicious food and wonderful entertainment.
