GREETINGS FROM YOUR BROTHERS & SISTER IN ST. JOSEPH NAMALAKA
People of St. Brendan,
Missed you a lot on this Easter, how we wish you were here to celebrate this holy occasion with us. The Easter
feeling does not end, it signals a new beginning of nature, spring and a brand new life of friendship. St. Joseph
is cool and windy as we are starting the winter season. We are much delighted to hear of your coming to Ma-
lawi and we count down the June 6 arrival of St. Brendan’s delegation. We are planning to host you for three
full time days at the parish to familiarize yourselves with the parish, it culture, our churches and above all get-
ting to know the people themselves. Our joys are housed in balloons which will burst upon your arrival! We,
therefore, commit ourselves to prayer for traveling mercies on this good cause.
The priest house project is advancing significantly They are now working on the
roof of the main house. We look forward to seeing you. Greetings to the planning
team. Stay blessed, John Andrew Phiri (head school master) Together we can
grow. We are collecting rosaries and soccer balls in box in Narthex. Questions?

DO YOU KNOW?—Learning about Jesus’ Miracles
(answers next week)
1. Matthew 9: 1-8 This is the first miracle in the gospel of Matthew. Jesus heals a man who cannot move. What else does Jesus do? Jesus also forgave his sins.
2. Mark 1: 29-31 Peter’s mother in law got busy as soon as she was healed. What did she do? She served food to Jesus and others in the house.
3. Luke 6: 12-16 Jesus heals the leper (a person with leprosy). After that Jesus tells the leper to go
to the priest. Find out more about this command by going to Leviticus 13: 9. The priest was given the responsibility to see if the disease was contagious.
4. The miracle in John 6: 1-15 is often called the Feeding of the 5,000. This happened near the time of a great Jewish feast. Can you find out what feast it was? See verse 4. They were getting ready to celebrate the Passover. That is the feast to celebrate leaving Egypt and crossing the Red Sea to-ward the Promised Land.
Have you registered for

It’s a $50 camp, pretty cheap for what you get! Let us know if you need a 50% schol-arship. We will have drama, games, Bible adventures, crafts, great food, and cool videos about Egypt. Join us!
