• The Summit for High Schoolers We meet Sundays, 6-8pm in Base Camp. Come join us as we grow together. Invite a friend!

• $3 Tacky Prom! It’s the end of our Summit year and we’re having a Prom. On May 11, (at 84th) 6pm-8pm. We’ll be sporting thrift store fashion, duct tape, and anything tacky! $3 will go toward area missions as we share sweets, snapshots, sequins, and swans*! (*OK, maybe not swans.)

Mother’s Day Flower Sale This weekend we are selling hanging baskets of beautiful flowers for $20.00 at 84th. Profits help to pay for student mission trips.

Our Heritage Hill Campus is going to be on the 2014 Heritage Hill Weekend Tour of Homes on May 17 & 18! This is an awesome opportunity to introduce people to our church. We are looking for people from either campus to volunteer as tour guides at our downtown facility for the tour weekend (3-hour shift). We will provide training and it will be fun and easy to do! • Dementia Support Group offers support and encouragement to those caring for a loved one with dementia. May 19, at 7pm.

• Prayer Shawl Ministry Tuesday, May 13th, 6:30pm. Come knit and connect with others. Shawls comfort those going through grief and illness.

• Food Truck Our next food truck is Wednesday, May 14. Distribution begins at 4:00pm. If you can lend a hand, we start setting up at 3:30pm. The food is available for anyone who needs it!

• IHN The 84th Street Campus becomes “home” to homeless families the week of June 29-July 6. If you, your family or Life Group can bring a meal, sleep at the church overnight (in your own room), bring food, or plan kids’ activities, signup at cornerstonemi.org/ihn

• Degage Breakfast Cornerstone prepares and serves breakfast at Degage Ministries in Grand Rapids the second Saturday each month. If you, your Life Group or family (kids 10+) would like to serve, the next available dates are June 14th and July 12th. It takes about 3 hours. Contact Thom at [email protected]

• Kenya Cornerstone’s Kenya mission team is collecting #2 pencils for the school we’ll work with, and eye drops for the eye clinic we’ll offer. Email Tracy for the list of eye drops needed. Items are needed by June 8th and may be placed at the Kiosk on 84th or the collection corner HH. You may also pick up a countdown to Kenya Prayer Sheet!
