IntroductionThe aim of surgical fracture treatmentis to reconstruct the bony anatomy andrestore its function. According to theAO, internal fixation is distinguished byanatomical reduction, stable fixation,preservation of blood supply, and early,active mobilization. Plate and screw os-teosynthesis has been established andclinically recognized for some time.
