1 University of Sassari Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy dcf.uniss.it Master Degree in Chemical Sciences The Master Degree in Chemical Sciences aims at forming chemists with a solid knowledge in the fundamental areas of chemistry and a specific expertise in one of the proposed curricula: - Green Chemistry, - Materials Chemistry, - Chemistry applied to cultural heritage. Students will take 120 credits across two years (120 ECTS, each credit being equivalent to 25 hours). The Master degree culminates in an extensive experimental thesis that includes a practical research work. Access requirements An undergraduate Degree in Chemistry (three year course, B.Sc. equivalent) is required for admission to the Master programme. Other degrees meeting the requirements stated in the Regulation of the Master degree are also valid. In particular, students should have a minimum number of ECTS in some scientific sectors (Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Informatics, Biology, Chemical Engineering) with a minimum of 60 ECTS in Chemistry.
