6. Loosen vent plugs, 2 and 3, Fig. 44, on fuel injection pump and operate priming lever, 1, Fig. 43, until air-free fuel flows out both vents. Tighten vent plugs.
7. Loosen pressure lines at injector connections, 1, Fig. 45.
8. With fuel shut-off control in run position, move hand throttle to full-open position, crank engine with starting motor until air-free fuel flows from connections. Tighten connections and start engine.
NOTE: Do not operate starter motor continuously for more than 30 seconds without aI/owing a few minutes for cooling.
LOW IDLE ADJUSTMENT
Turn idle speed adjusting screw, 1, Fig. 44, in or out until engine speed is 750 ± 25 rpm.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Two 20 amp fuses, 1, Fig. 46, and a 35 amp fuse, 2, protects Tractor's electrical circu its. Check these fuses when an electrical failure occurs. Repeated failure of fuses indicates an electrical problem. Locate and correct before continuing operation. UNDER NO circumstances should substitutes be used in place of these parts. Flasher unit is located in rear work lamp.
Battery
Battery is located in front of instrument panel behind fuel tank. Access to battery is easily gained by removing cover, Fig. 47.
