Sacraments Penance - Monday-Friday: 7:00pm-7:20pm. Saturday:
1:00pm-2:00pm and immediately following the 5:30pm Mass or by
appointment with a priest at any time. Baptisms are normally held
the 2nd and 3rd Sunday of each month at 1:30pm.* Instructions for
parents are normally held the 1st Sunday of each month at 1:30pm in
the basement of the Parish Life Center. These instructions are
required of parents having their first child Baptized. All parents
must be registered parishioners and present childs birth
certificate at the time of arranging for the baptism. Godparents
must be practicing Catholics, at least sixteen years of age, who
have received the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist, and, if
married, the Sacrament of Matrimony. Sponsor certificate must be
presented at least one week before Baptism. PLEASE NOTE! We are
accepting registrations for Baptisms for August and beyond. Please

Arrangements for a wedding should be made at least one year in

Our new H.E.L.P. ministry of high school students (His
Everlasting Love Preachers) will be holding a bake sale this
weekend to raise funds for projects they are planning. This
ministry hopes to be of assistance in our religious education

This weekend we welcome Fr. Paulino Cabahit, who will be with us
for the summer (July and August) at the recommendation of Fr. Ramil
Costibolo. Fr. Paulino, like his predecessors in past summers, is
from the Philippines and studying in Pamplona, Spain. We look
forward to his time with us.

Now through July 4th, we continue to join Catholic Churches
throughout the United States in a Fortnight for Freedom. You are
asked to pray each day for an end to an institutional coercion by
the government against conscience and government intrusion into the
ordering of Church institutions. A simplified prayer you may say
daily is:
Almighty God, Father of all nations, for freedom you have set us
free in Christ Jesus. We praise and bless you for the gift of
religious liberty, the foundation of human rights, justice, and the
common good.
Grant to our leaders the wisdom to protect and promote our
liberties; By your grace, may we have the courage to defend them,
for ourselves and for all those who live in this blessed land.
We ask this through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, our
patroness, and in the name of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in
the unity of the Holy Spirit, with whom you live and reign, one
God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Reflection on Todays Gospel
Gracious living can sound like one of those monthly magazines
containing recipes and the latest in home design. But it is far
more demanding when we understand it from a Pauline perspective as
a call to live in imitation of the gracious action of our Lord
Jesus Christ. Today we see Jesus graciously reach out to two
desperate women. One had been hemorrhaging for twelve years, making
her continually unclean, so she could not be in any contact with
friends or family, or worship with others. She had lost everything,
was truly impoverished. The other was a twelve-year-old girl whose
frantic father had come for Jesus to heal her. To both women, Jesus
showed the gracious love of God, a healing touch restoring them to
life. Amazing, gracious God, look kindly on us and fill us with
your grace. Expand our hearts so we might be generous to others as
you have been to us. Bless our days that we might spread the light
of your life to those who feel trapped by the darkness.

Madonna Chapel & Mausoleum Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee has
begun construction of an addition to its mausoleum. Madonna
Mausoleum, the first community mausoleum built in the Archdiocese
of Newark, has served the needs of our local community for almost
forty years. The construction of an addition was necessary to
continue in this mission. The new expansion will be called the All
Saints section and there will be several liturgical features of
saints that represent the ethnic diversity of our community. There
will also be private and semi-private areas in the mausoleum
addition and there will be options for both single and double
interment. Because pre-planning is an important family
responsibility, the cemetery is offering cemetery counseling and
information about the mausoleum. If you wish to have more
information, please fill out the enclosed form in the brochure at

Childrens Choir Looking forward to September, we would like to
see how many children in grades 4 through 8 would like to be part
of a Childrens Choir next year. Although rehearsals wont begin
