At Sintex we follow the simple principle
'Housing for all'With revolutionary Monolithic Concrete Construction System, our aim is to provide robust support to all government/semi-government agencies and their mass housing programmes for speedy, affordable and planned housing development.
Focus is on quality & efficiency in urban infrastructure and service delivery mechanisms.

The objective of the Sintex Mass Housing is to ensure that the followings are achieved in the urban sector:
(A) Focused attention to integrated development of infrastructure
(B) Provision of basic services including security of tenure at affordable prices, other amenities and facilities that a family unit requires to create model neighbourhood thus improving the lifestyle of urban poor

Monolithic concrete construction (MCC) is a method by which walls and slabs are constructed together giving the structure a complete box like shapeFluid of cement and concrete are poured in light weight formwork system while using required reinforcement bars for needed strength Monolithic has found its application in various government and private schemes such as EWS/LIG/MIG wherein large number of units with similar configuration are to be created in a short span

IOIndian Housing Scenario for EWS/LIG
Housing remains an unfulfilled dream for majority of underprivileged Indians
Against the required 25 million housing units, we are able to construct at the most 1 million units per year
Private builders concentrating on middle to higher income groups have even widened this gap in demand and supply for EWS
With a vision to fill this gap, Sintex has come up with a sensational construction technology, called Monolithic Concrete Construction Technology or MCC

ADVANAGES
TSpeedy construction on mass scale
Extremely high structural strength
Dead load reduced by almost 50%, hence cost saving
Resource efficient – allows use of fly ash in the mix which
makes it a clean and green construction technique
Very few skilled workers required
Error free construction
Smooth wall finish
Maintenance free
Expected service life of more than 80 years
Better resistance to earthquakes
Ideal for BSUP/IHSDP and similar schemes under JnNURM of
Government of India

1. LESS STRUCTURAL STABILITY.
2. REQUIRES MORE CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES.
MORE TIME AS WELL AS MORE LABOUR REQUIRED.
3. HIGHER CONSTRUCTION COST.
4. CLAY BRICKS ARE MADE FROM FERTILE SOIL & TRANSPORTATION OF BRICKS NEEDS MORE LEAD TIME.
NOT ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY.
5. MORE DEAD WEIGHT.
NO SAVINGS IN FOUNDATION COST.
6. THE BUILDING FORMS A HETEROGENEOUS STRUCTURE.
UNWANTED DEFECTS DURING / AFTER THE CONSTRUCTION WORK.
7. AVAILABILITY OF LARGE NUMBER OF MASONS IS A COMMON PROBLEM.
8. NO CONSISTENCY IN SHUTTERING.
IRREGULAR SHAPE AND SPOILT FINAL PRODUCT.
9. RAW SURFACE IS TOO ROUGH.
INNER AND OUTER SURFACES REQUIRE PLASTERING.
10. PERIODIC AND REGULAR MAINTENANCE REQUIRED.
11. REQUIRES MINIMUM 18~20T/M2 SBC OF SOIL FOR RESTING FOUNDATION.
HARD SOIL STRATA REQUIRED.

1. HIGH STRUCTURAL STABILITY.
2. IT IS SPEEDY.
REQUIRES LESS TIME & WORK FORCE.
3. CHEAPER BY 15% THAN CONVENTIONAL METHODS.
LOWER CONSTRUCTION COST.
4. RECYCLED BUILDING MATERIALS USED.
ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY AND RESOURCE EFFICIENT.
5. HALF OF WHAT IS REQUIRED IN CONVENTIONAL METHOD.
SAVINGS IN FOUNDATION COST.
6. MCC GIVES HOMOGENEOUS STRUCTURES ELIMINATES ALL DEFECTS LIKELY TO OCCUR AT LATER STAGE.
7. THIS TECHNOLOGY REQUIRES ONLY SEMISKILLED AND UNSKILLED WORKERS.
8. THE MONOLITHIC CONSTRUCTION HAS SIMPLE MODULAR LIGHT WEIGHT FORMWORK SYSTEM.
9. THE FORM FINISH CONCRETE SURFACE IS SMOOTH.
NEEDS NO PLASTERING.
10. THE CEMENT CONCRETE MONOLITHIC STRUCTURE ONCE BUILT WILL ALWAYS BE MAINTENANCE FREE.
11. BUILDING CAN REST ON SOIL HAVING SBC 10T/M2.
CAN BE BUILT ON WEAKER SOIL STRATA ALSO.
Sintex has the necessary expertise and experience required for huge projectsSintex has already constructed more than 20,000 houses till dateSintex has the capability to complete the project work in a systematic and time bound mannerSintex has in-house capability of manufacturing formworkHY
