THANK YOU FOR COMINGTHANK YOU FOR COMINGI know we met in a strange way, but we have kept the contact in some ways, and we look for a

chance to see us again.First of all, I don’t have any hidden purpose to want you come. I don’t want to be an obstacle on

your daily life. But just when you told me your wish to come, my heart and soul exploded in happiness.

I don’t know what kind of frienship or relationship we have, but I can’t miss the chance you bring me since Malta, and I’ll try to do my best, and give you a great time here in Valencia for holidays. For me always is great to meet a big friend like you (or some else than friend, I don’t know, ;-)).

In other hand, maybe it’s not the best time to come here in winter, and I know you come here because you knew that I’m leaving next January. Furthermore, nowadays I’m not living at Valencia city, I do at my parents’ house. But I designed your stay to not get worried about a lot of things.

Basically, we’re going to do a lot of things and visit many places, going out at nights, spanish ‘fiesta’, discos, zoo’s, museums, walkthrough in the city (also in Sagunto, another beautiful city), etc.

On the next pages I’ll explain you. I hope you agree, and, of course you like it.

YOUR ACCOMODATIONYOUR ACCOMODATIONI live in Lliria, a not very small town (25,000 population) 15 minutes by car from Valencia. I live in a brand new building in a quiet residential area near some parks and natural forests. About you, you’re going to have a single room for you, that I think it’s enough big for anyone and full equiped with:

• A very comfortable bed.• A desk and a chair.• A cushion pouffe• A bedside table with some empty drawers to let your stuff into• A big wardrobes to leave your clothes from your luggage• A 17’’ TV• Wireless connection to Internet.• I will connect a PC, a Wii device or a Playstation 3. I’m not sure what I’m going to install

finally, but you can get connected with all these three devices. So you could check your mail, watch movies and do whatever you want with it.

YOUR ACCOMODATION AND YOUR ACCOMODATION AND AMBIANCE AT THE HOUSE AMBIANCE AT THE HOUSE

Some things you must know:About your room and bathroom:• I live in a building but in two flats. Rooms are in upper floor but they are independent from

each one.• Your room it’s yours. You can do whatever you want.• There’s no locking key but your privacy will be respected in any case.• You have one bathroom to share with me. My parents have their own. No problems about it.• Bathroom is quite big and it has all supplies working perfectly.• We can use your room or mine as a living room. Just to chill or kill our time doing nothing.

Mine it’s very big.

About kitchen, mealtimes, ambiance at the house, etc:• My mom is gonna to be the one to cook. Even when she’s gone, she would leave lunch or

dinner for us.• Always homemade meals. My mother doesn’t use to use microwave or cook a lot of frozen

pre-cooked food.• I don’t want to write you down a sample menu, because I’ll know you’ll like the spanish food.• The diet it’s basically based on rice, noodles, meat, fish, potatoes, and the normal things but

cooked at the mediterranean way. We love salads and vegetables.• I tried to design a plan for us to have lunch or dinner out just sometimes. Depending on what

are we doing or where are we at the moment (when we are sited at Valencia for example).• My parents’ are very kind with visitors but I don’t want you feel strange or misunderstood. For

me it’s gonna to be a new eperience too. So when we are going to have lunch or dinner at home, we are going to have our own timetable (you and me) That’s the only way we can chat about our things not interupted with spanish speakers (my parents). It’s just a very good solution about the ‘many languages-problem’. I know you’re not coming here to learn Spanish and I don’t want to let you into innapropiate situations, or feel you uncomfortable. They know you’re in holidays, and me too. So I don’t want to worry about some things. I just want to spend my time with you doing and showing things.

YOUR ACCOMODATION AND YOUR ACCOMODATION AND AMBIANCE AT THE HOUSE AMBIANCE AT THE HOUSE

• Feel free to move around the house. You’re my guest and my friend. And the friends of my friends are my friends

• For example. You can take from the fridge what you want without asking nobody before (a coke for example). So feel free always.

• You could tell me before you come about the meals you don’t like or what you like the most, or any thing you think it’s important.

• And we could come back home whenever we want, even lately at night. Not everyday, of course.

• My family it’s typical valencian family. And feel relaxed, because maybe you won’t meet them very often because we are going on our own if you come. If you want to explain something to them I’ll explain patiently the times everybody need. For me will be a good training of speaking on that way.

• I tell you all these things because I have to apologize not to offer a better accomodation. I mean the place where I live it’s very nice, but I preferred (maybe you too) to be with me in my own flat. Years ago I had my own with my brother in Valencia, living alone and independent at my university ages, due to circumstances now, I’m at my parents’ house, but just temporarily. I don’t know what you think. If you feel dissapointed about that point, sorry again, but I’m willing to do whatever to get you allright if you decided on coming.

• Also I’m a little bit scared about the crash of characters, even between you and me. Mediterranean Vs. Russian? You know me, but understand me if I ommit something or do some mistakes. We also come from different cultures and maybe we do some things differently.

YOUR ‘9 DAYS PLAN’ YOUR ‘9 DAYS PLAN’

• You told you wish to come for 9 days approximately. So my proposal it’s next: 4-5-6 days on trips at Valencia, Sagunto and also at Lliria. And freestyle for the rest of your stay (we should think what to do, ok?).

• I’ve designed a sample schedule, but you can add your ideas or disagree if you don’t like it.• I’ll check (I’ve seen some places yet) all the routes we are going before. Trying to combine

time by foot and time by tram (electric train) A lot of walkthrough (we will be tourists) but not enough to feel tired or get pain at our feet.

• I’ll also check the places sited in our routes where we could have food, trying to find nice places but not very expensive.

• Sometimes we can get some food from home. Like sandwiches for example or bottle waters to our trips.

• That’s not all about trips. But you’ll get a better idea if you check the timetable: (SEE PAGE BELOW)
