Kia Canada continues to lead the market in 2011 with the largest percentage increase of 28 per cent year-to-date when mea- suring top ten volume manufacturers in Canada including outpac- ing industry results. Growth continues to be consistent across the country with four straight months that Kia Canada has sustained increased record growth in all four regions of the country . These strong sales results have also contributed to the industry- best sales streak of 28 consecutive months. “It is quite evident that Canadians continue to embrace our world-cl ass desi gn, technol ogy and saf ety whi l e appreciat- ing the benef it of our f uel eff icient vehicl e l ine-up” sai d Maria Soklis, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Kia Canada Inc. “The result is an all-time record month exceeding 6000 sal es in Apri l f or the f irst time wit h three vehicl e l ines contri buting with over 1000 sal es each f or the f irst time.” The Kia Forte line-up including the sedan, 5-Door and Koup was the volume leader in April with 1745 vehicles reported sustaining a 35.7 per cent increase. The Georgia bui l t 2011 Kia Sorento Compact Uti l ity Vehicl e (CUV) contin- ues to provi de si gni f icant vol ume with 1273 vehicl es reported nationally charting a 31 per cent increase in comparison to April 2010.
