Maryborough Reunion 2013 Another year passed – amazing! Another Reunion almost here – wonderful ! This year is special in that it is 125 years since the beginning of the Maryborough Technical College, so there should be extra attendance and celebration from MTC ex students, hopefully. We are looking forward to seeing familiar faces again this year and we hope there will be some new ones (well, new in the sense – not seen for a long time). It is always great to meet up with old friends and acquaintances, and so much news to catch up on! Don’t forget, whilst in Maryborough do visit Worsley Cottage and Museum Complex (open Sunday 2-4pm or by appointment), 3 Palmerston Street, Maryborough, Phone (03) 54612800 (Email: [email protected]or visit http://home.vicnet.net.au/~mbhs ) as they have a wonderful display and heaps of information on past times in the town. Also make sure you visit the old schools, all of which are still there, albeit used for different purposes now. If you had been quick earlier in the year you could have purchased SS404, but alas it has already been sold for renovation as a home we believe! We would really prefer everyone to purchase tickets prior to the event so that we have definite numbers to give the caterers, although we realise there will always be some who will turn up on the night. We love to see unexpected faces, but it does make it difficult for catering, so try to RSVP by the 12th October so that we can get the numbers right, otherwise we are either short of food on the night or money to pay the bills. As you all may or may not realise this event has voluntary organisers and we must cover costs. The price does include the Sausage/Salad Barbecue lunch on Sunday 20 th October held at Lions Park in Park Road, which is always
Saturday October 19th, 2013 from 7.00pm at Maryborough Highland Society.

Maryborough Reunion 2013Another year passed – amazing!
Don’t forget, whilst in Maryborough do visit Worsley Cottage and Museum Complex (open Sunday 2-4pm or by appointment), 3 Palmerston Street, Maryborough, Phone (03) 54612800 (Email: [email protected] or visit http://home.vicnet.net.au/~mbhs)

The price does include the Sausage/Salad Barbecue lunch on Sunday 20 th October held at Lions Park in Park Road, which is always enjoyable. In the event of inclement weather, another venue will be organised and advised on the noticeboard on the Sat night.
We will be looking for volunteers to help with the cooking of sausages, so bring your apron!
