“PLEDGED” to him.

AN ENCOUNTER

WITH AN ANGEL

Mary had no idea what

was about to happen or

that her life would be

CHANGED forever.

Gabriel and Mary had a

conversation. Gabriel

gives Mary some

important NEWS.

WHAT MARY DID

AND DIDN’T KNOW

She didn’t know

whether to expect

GOOD or BAD news.

She didn’t know why

God CHOSE her.

She was told she was

blessed, but did not

understand that it had to

do with being chosen

to be the MOTHER of

God’s Son.

going to have a baby boy,

who would be special, but

she didn’t know HOW it

was going to happen,

because she was a virgin.

She had a hard time

fathoming all this news,

so God strengthened her

FAITH with more

miraculous news.

Although she was told

that Jesus would evoke

strong FEELINGS in many

people, she didn’t begin to

understand who He really

WAS or the IMPACT

He would have.

She could not understand

how her son would

REIGN forever.
