    “MART” JSC is one of the leading manu-facturers of equipment for TV and Radio broadcasting in Russia. We have been gaining our experience dur-

    ing 105 years. The history of our company goes back to November 29, 1911 when the “Regulations on radiotelegraph laboratory foundation” were approved. Shortly before, Russian inventor Alexander Popov founded the radio workshop in Kronshtadt, where he experimented with the first radio receivers and wireless telegraphy. Later, his work-shop and the first Russian telegraph labo-ratory merged into one company – R&D “Komintern” and it started the radio building industry in Russia.We are proud of two remarkable historical

    facts – the first national TV transmitter was created at our enterprise as well as the first equipment for Ostankino TV center. Following these achievements, “MART”

    JSC initiated the production of the first na-tional digital transmitter. Its first going on the air at the Nizhny Novgorod pilot area is dated on 2 July, 2000, and the first Rus-sian commercial digital DVB-T/H transmit-ter started its operation in Saint-Petersburg in April 2002. “MART” JSC turned to be a successor

    of this corporation since 1994 after boom-ing development of national television broadcasting network. Our enterprise has equipped great number of broadcast cen-ters and stations in Russia and other coun-tries with more than 3000 transmitters and

    5000 of antenna-feeder devices.Since 2006 “MART” JSC has been a stra-

    tegic partner of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Russian Television and Radio broadcasting Network” (FGUP “RTRS”) in-volved in modernization of transmitting TV and Radio broadcasting networks in the Russian Federation.

    Participation in projects In 2007 our company was awarded by

    Saint-Petersburg Administration for the cre-ation of the significant innovative project on national digital TV broadcasting develop-ment.Since 2009 our company has been an ac-

    tive participant of the “Saint-Petersburg clus-ter of TV broadcasting equipment designers and manufacturers” and a member of “Asso-ciation of TV and Radio broadcasting equip-ment designers and manufacturers” (Mos-cow).“MART” JSC is a participant of Federal Tar-
